My condolences go out to his family and friends. He apparently lost his battle with cancer at the young age of 42.

It can't be said of many that their visions helped realize entire worlds, but it can be said of him. That is a wonderful thing. RIP.

Truly awful news. All my friends were talking about this today.

I'm an artist myself, and I loved his work, it was tremendously inspirational. I bought the the special editions of both Fallout 3 and Skyrim based solely on the fact that they came with artbooks. It's fantastic stuff, he was one of the best in the industry. In any industry.

This man is incredebly talented and inspirational. His drawings are nothing short of mind-freakin-blowing. So much detail.

Anyway,

The good die young. Adam, take your place in Sovngarde. (Does anyone know if he was one of those who gave Sovngarde her looks?) This is very sad news. Condolences to his family, friends and to Bethesda, of course.
