My condolences to his family, friends and Bethesda. Rest in Peace, Adam and thank you for designing the art of Skyrim and Fallout 3. The art style is indeed unique.

I hope the rest of the concept arts will take inspiration from Adam Adamowicz.

I don't know if this is the appropriate to say, but I'm trying to be respectful... but Bethesda should reimagine dragonbone armor (among other things) in his honor of his vision.

That would definitely be the armor worthy of being top tier.

The brightest candles burn but a short time. Rest in peace.

I hope he'll be recognized by the addition of something in a later game.

Is it just me or do more and more people see to be dying from cancer these days? I feel for him, his family and friends. My mother is currently fighting cancer, her second time even, and its not an easy thing.

Not a single day on this earth is promised to us, so make the best of each one. Dream like you will live forever and live like you will die tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for their kind words and support. Today we've put up a tribute to Adam on Bethblog, as well as on fallout.gamesas.com & ElderScrolls.com

The tribute shares hundreds of pieces of his concept art, as well as memories from the team.

Stop by and squeeze the nun... Adam would be thrilled you stopped by.

It's very unfortunate Adam passed away so soon. His accomplishments and arts are amazing.

I was talking with my friend about Skyrim and was just commenting how visual aspects of the game, together with music and sound effects (Mark, you did great job once more), were probably best aspects of the game.
About 30 minutes latter, I find out that person responsible for that awesomeness is dead. o_o

Damn. I just saw the thread and heard about this today. A tragic loss. His contributions to the Elder Scrolls (Oblivion Shivering Isles, Skyrim) and the Fallout series are truly appreciated and his future contributions will be sorely missed.

I've been watching the slideshows and videos of his art. Life is too short, if you are creative person, make it worthwhile and try to leave your mark while you are still here. Adam definitely did.

Very sad. If there is one thing to be grateful for is that the culmination of his work brought much joy to millions of people. I'm sure he will be missed.

I'd never met the guy but I've spent thousands of hours in his imagination.

It's awesome to think that a person who most people have never heard off could lend his work and creativity to help inform the experience and imagination of MILLIONS of people.

Game design is an ART.
