Convince me to be a redguard

Post » Wed Nov 20, 2013 7:50 pm

Well since i need to be in the same faction as my friends, they both just so happen to want to be:

1.An orc

2.A breton

I want to play with them but i wanted to either be a dark elf or nord, but there's no point if i can't play with them.

this picture kind of interested me: http://oi40.tinypic.com/2wohgk5.jpg

Why not play an orc or breton like they are. Also, Redguards are humans just like nords and imperials so i do not see what the problem is, unless you just do not like their Culture.

The racial bonuses wont be the same for all races. I think each races have a different racial bonuses so on Ebonheart pact for example Dark Elf have 15 % increase exp with 1 hand weapons ,and Nord got 15 % increase exp with 2 hand weapons , so i think Orcs or Breton may have other racial bonuses .

The Alik'r (Redguard) like curved swords. Curved. Swords.

Think Aladdin or Arabia and you have Hammerfell and the Redguard. Does that appeal to you? If not, then you could also be a Breton or Orc like your friends.

From what i've seen bretons seem too greedy and materialsitic.

I love smithing so a nord smith suits me, even though an orc would be a better smith im sure.

Not sure why im draw to dark elves, i guess im excited that they look nice in this game.

Duh, but i do not think he cares about racials though.

Not really. While there are power grabs quite a lot in Hammerfell, that is only because they have a monarchy (i think) and the aristocrats are just being aristocrats, for the most part they are fairly similar to imperials (even getting their heavy armor design and Military Design from them). Their king at the moment is one of the nicest guys ever and is a very honorable, peaceful king.

Could just be a nord and hit their heads in with hammers in Cyrodiil, seems a fair option

The Redguards have the power to nuke an entire continent the size of North and South America into the ocean with a power so controlled that it did not cause any world-wide catastrophes.

So I mean, yeah.

omg thank you for the lulz sir haha

anyways on topic

you should be a redguard because they're tan and possibly the most formidable human race in all of tamriel. Their women are smexy. As a redguard you have the right to be on a boat which means you're baller. They came to tamriel and just started taking over, it didn't matter who was in their way they were like "i'm gonna farm and live here, any quarrels will be pooped on." Dawnguard leader is a redguard which means you can tell vampire lovers to svck it, yes i'm talking to you stephanie meyer.

The Redguards also fought off the Thalmor by themselves after the Empire handed over Hammerfell with the White-Gold Concordat. Formidable, indeed.

Adrenaline Rush is probably the main reason I played mostly Redguards when I was younger. I'm now a Dunmer fan boy, but Redguard has always been one of the top reasons. The racials aren't nearly as powerful, but Adrenaline Rush is always a nostalgia I'll be able to grasp, and if it's in ESO, that's one more reason.

I would try and latch on the lore or the region (having grown up in Arizona, I LOVE the desert, and deserts in MMOs, the sunsets are gorgeous if they get it right).

These guys are reasons NOT to play redguards though, They are 2 of the most annoying NPC's in the entire game.

BUT, these guys are awesome.

Are you kidding? Nazeem is hilarious, at least in the sense that it's hilarious when I kill him for being annoying. Apparently you've never been to the cloud district, I feel for you, I really do.
