I HIGHLY recommend all of you search "The Odyssey Expedition" it's a blog about a guy trying to travel to every country in the world without flying. It's really interesting, he's currently in Fiji with only 9 countries left to visit.

http://www.slate.com is another of my picks. The writing's not always of A+ quality, and it's sometimes too liberal for my liking, and often I'm just not in the mood for serious stuff, but there are enough outstanding pieces that I'll scan it periodically.


I thought this was cool. It's "serious" and "productive", not "boring". The links do leave me wondering what your job is.
