Crash on new game. Tech support does not return E-Mail : Fallout: New Vegas

Just did, actually. Long day. Yeah, the app continues to fail spectacularly. Aero off, fresh boot, everything killed. I'm amused that the game crashes just after you get shot in a cinematic. Irony is awesome.

I'm not looking for tech. support from Bethesda from here, was mostly looking for advice on how to get a response from them. I do appreciate the help the community is providing; it is unexpected and appreciated.

I was not asking whether you had done a fresh boot, but a clean boot.

Interesting dialog but it still does not work on my computer either. Windows 7 64 bit OS might be a common thread but the fault descibed happens to me. Get as far as the start of a new game then hangs. I bought the disc from Amazon and got it in the post today. Loaded it and it hung up. I will go back to Mafia 2, Call of duty Black ops, PES 2011, anno 1404, napolion total war etc etc. All those games loaded and launched without proding around with my DxDiag and worrying about updated files. We have a problem with this game. It hangs up before launching the game. PES 2011 had one. The ctfmon.exe file has to be disabled to get it to launch. We have to deduce what file stops Fallout New Vegas starting.
