Creatures Lonesome Road HAS to have.

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 6:03 pm

I dunno about the rest of you, but it kind of bugs me that in Fallout 3 and New Vegas that, with the exception of brahmin, crows and bighorners (thanks for those last 2 at least, Obsidian! :D) well... every single creature wants you dead.

Honest Hearts would've been the perfect place to introduce new passive creatures, but hopefully Lonesome Road will do!

I give you...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pronghorn Monster deer with horns made of win and awesome.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Bison They've been hunted nearly to extinction, it's time to take back what's theirs!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_tortoise (heck, I'd take a retextured Mirelurk!)

So, what mutant or normal animals do YOU want to see in future DLC?

A giant radioactive tortoise would make me oh so happy. Maybe a rideable one kinda like that story some people tell about how land is really a giant radioactive tortoise with land on its back.

Or at least it could have plants growing on its shell, like Harold. :D

Or it could "somehow" have Harold going out of his back. :spotted owl:

Hmm, good point. It's only ever so slightly out of its original, pre-European range, but you're right.

Woulda been perfect for Zion, but.

Radroaches, Geckos, and bloatflies won't attack you at the beginning of the game unless you get close.

There supposed to be extinct. They had one Queen and she died in Fallout 2.

I think the Bighorners fill the Bison void. They're pretty much Big horn sheep and Bison rolled into one.

I like the tortoise. I would also like some small lizards and scorpions.

I'd like to see an intelligent Death Claw companion, with a perk that increases unarmed damage and DT or something. A mutated wolverine would also be a good addition IMO.
