Bioware

Y U NO STOP FIGHTING MY FAVORITE UPCOMING GAMES?

Effing this. If there's anyone who could pull my attention away from Skyrim, it's Bioware. First world problems, though. We should be happy that there are so many great offerings in the gaming market.

He is showing massive -insert term for "hardcoe fan" here-, and conspiracy theories just because there is a beta on the 11th, its like saying Veterans Day in America is on the 11th because the government wants us to not be able to play Skyrim.

:/

But thats true
The Illuminati caused WWI to create Veterens/Armistice Day just to ruin Skyrim

I got an invite to and while yes most of my game time will be spent on skyrim this weekend and the next several months....I already downloaded TOR client and plan to check the game out. I quit WoW a few months ago after playing on and off since launch and I always try out new MMO's if they seem cool. I'm not planning on buying TOR when it launches but I will take this chance to see the game in action for myself. I'm pretty excited now I just need someone to take the wife and kids off my hands for the weekend so I can have some peace while I nerd out lol.

I'm guessing the movie "Immortals" is in on the conspiracy as well with Lucas Arts!

It's basically paying $15 a month for an old republic game

That's where I tuned out. Anything you said after that was just white noise to me.
KotOR is my 3rd or 4th favorite game ever. Daggerfall, my favorite TES game, is only #7 or something like that.
Sure, I prefer single player games over MMOs, but if I had to choose between TOR and Skyrim, I don't know what I'd pick...
Damn you, OP! Why haven't I received an invite yet?! :pinch:

well apparently the story etc. is all very good, and the voice acting is all very good. it'll just be a longer grind with more "kill 10 evil dudes" in between the story :(

and no sign of revan, but i'm hoping he or something about him will pop up at later levels

TOR takes place 300 years after the KotOR games. I doubt Revan's still alive. Although, anything's possible with the Force, I guess.
Anyway, seeing as the true Sith are back, I guess he failed in his mission. Meaning that he's probably dead... or he's turned to the Dark Side... again.

What? I'm not American but I thought Veteran's Day is a holiday, so wouldn't that, if thought of as a conspiracy, mean that the government wants you to play Skyrim?

Has nothing to do with Skyrim, they send betas every weekend. I for one got 1 back in early september, doesn't mean that they were competing with Dead Island or whatever else was out that weekend.

I've received 3 or 4 such emails so far. They have several separate Beta testing periods - odds aren't bad that one would begin on November 11th.

This. It's not like they only picked the 11th for their only beta test. They've been going around for a while and most have started on a Friday.

Rage on sale for $40... Deus Ex Revolution on sale for $20...Lucasarts betas going out.. Candadian zoos splitting up gay penguins.. all of this is a vast conspiracy to reduce sales of Skyrim.

Uh, they've been doing weekend only beta invites for weeks if not months now. This is a common occurrence and nothing to do with Skyrim.
