Cuter argonian and khajiit characters

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 2:44 pm

Since morrowind, they have gotten less cute, is there a way to make them more like the older models but with improved graphics and detail and mesh?

Cute Argonnian... that just doesn't work.

Great point! I never noticed until now, but there are no khajiit or argonnian children in skyrim! D:

mostly hoping to get more of a style/ shape like this http://i.imgur.com/YgXeh.jpg

also it would be cool if there was a nyan cat mod where you can replace a enemy NPC with nyancat, (eg if the game has a will o wisp, you can replace it with a nyan cat, or add it as it's own additional NPC)

I think you'll have to wait until we have a working model exporter/importer, and even then it might be hard to change the head structure (I don't remember how it were for Oblivion).
(Though I have to say that I love how much more fierce and barbaric the beast races look now, especially the Argonians!)

Honestly, I think the Argonians look way better than they used to, although I haven't spent much time looking at them; at least they look much more bestial. They really don't strike me as the type of race that can be "cute" in the traditional sense (large facial features, high emotional expressiveness); do you maybe have a picture or two to illustrate what you're looking for?

As for Khajiits, I was pleased to find that my favorite TES race got a much better treatment this time around. I was able to get a good approximation to my mental image of a dark, suave fellow for my thief-with-illusionary-leanings. I was able to adjust his bone structure satisfactorily as well, and unlike in Oblivion, I felt that there would be more than one good-looking face shape. The four Khajiits I met in-game were actually all visually distinct characters. Animations were much improved, with small tail motions incorporated into idles and run loops. Personally, I'd like a few more haircuts and eyes and maybe one or two differing ear shapes, but I don't feel shorted by what I've seen. I'm sure more could be done, and I'd love to see their body types be even more bestial (toe-walking plz!), but I'm loving the faces thus far.

As to Khajiit and Argonian children: YES. I will bake cookies for anyone who gets on that task.

I actually love the way they look in Skyrim, much more like their Morrowind counter parts then in Oblivion.
You can make a cute khajiit I have seen some in the screenshots on nexus, just takes more work to make them look like house cats rather then Skyrim fairing cats.

The argonian tail could be still a bit longer or maybe costumizable via the character generator, beside that they are looking much better than those from Obivion, I like the Old Morrowind ones mostly because of there feets and the tail.
Hopefully someone can make them more "unhuman like".

Thats mainly want I want also, to make them look less human. currently for the most part the game seems to use the human mesh on all characters with the exception of the head and tail

morrowind made a better effort in differentiating the character models

In a goal of making them less human, having more of a shape like this for argonian http://i.imgur.com/RFPWp.jpg or this http://i.imgur.com/MXXi8.jpg

The creepy thing. After I installed this game, fiddled with races, I said to my friend, 'Dude, Argonians are very unhuman and badass looking... and, uh...khajits look like a furry's wet dream.'

I'm... kinda scared now, dude. Just really scared.

(I'd like Khajits to look MORE inhuman and feral, btw, instead of like FURSUIT MASK because, just, really , no, just, oh god, NO.)

Well, keep in mind that most of the Khajiit are migrant traders and most of the Argonians are dockworkers, it kinda makes sense why there aren't any Argonian or Khajiit children.

While I don't know about Cuter, the Argonians could do a little bit of fixing up with their stares...

While we are on khajiits. I would like a mod to stop their tails from wagging when they are DEAD
I mean don't know about Argonians but I've seen few Khajiits with their tails wagging when they were as dead as a door knob.

yep same here, making them have more of a feral shape will solve the issue of the game making all characters human, just some have a fursuit on.

(judging by the time skyrim seems to take place, I am not sure if it was popular to wear fursuits )

It happens when you come across dead NPCs you didn't kill.

Ya know, that kind of makes me sad. M'aiq was hilarious and unique in Morrowind; Morrowind in general had so many brilliant Easter Eggs. For Oblivion... they just copied one of Morrowind's Easter Eggs? That's lame.
