Aye, I guarantee you can't script as well as I can.

Not at the moment, no. But I intend to correct that.

The amount is shocking and it's probably illegal, but to be honest if Duke Patrick could make Skyrim combat the way he wants it to be, I'd give money for it to happen.

EDIT: Lol. The old ball and chain saw what I wrote so now I have to change it to "I'd give money, IN PRINCIPLE, for it to happen" :P

If you look in his FAQ he says that he makes 60k a year and is willing to take a pay cut to make this mod..... Yeah something doesnt sound right to me. Who in their right mind would take a almost 20k pay cut to do something that 99% of modders do as a hobby in their free time?

Modding is a hobby, not a means to generate income. He's pretty much holding the modding community at ransom, demanding to be paid fourty-four thousand dollars or the mod dies. And this is for something that you aren't allowed to sell by law.
Not cool, man. Not cool.

I fear for the modding community if this guy's attitude ever becomes the norm. Bethesda needs to shut him down.

Think about it, his professed justification for asking for money is that generating this mod is a job, which will take time away from his real job. Imagine if ALL mods were then to be labeled as taking on a job, with payments being required. Imagine that we become not modders, but freelance DLC-builders. Legally-speaking, I'm not sure how that would work, if it even would, but it's a pretty damn scary precedent to be so recklessly setting.

Has anybody actually passed info on this over to GStaff? I for one hope that Beth shuts him down.

And doesn't this guy know that for this to work he has to be a woman complaining about sixism in society who gets insulted for what she has to say?

On behalf of myself and all the other ladies on this forum I would just like to say....what the crap!?!

I think he considers the Kickstarter goal itself to be that pay cut. Unbelievable...

I reported the thread to the moderators. Hopefully, they'll pass it along.
