Hopefully the mods won't lock this. Though, the ranting needed to be toned down a bit.

Shortly after a good junk of people forget about it and only remember about when they see it in a steam sale.

I agree....maybe the ranting is a bit much.

I guess we should be a little grateful...i mean afterall....Bethesda started this whole Elder Scrolls thing.....without them...there would be no such thing as Dawnguard. So maybe we owe them a thank you? lololol

I honestly was not upset. i was just upset that the thread was closed down...when people were just discussing their similar frustrations. :)

I guess disappointed would be a better word.

Anyways, as long as I get Dawngaurd before summer is over I'll be content.

I really like how they put a "Telekinetic" type power in the game (Vampiric Grip). I dont know if any of you have ever played Psi-ops but i loved that game. Being able to move things/people with your mind is awesome. I always thought that the Elder Scrolls games would be better if you could use the Telekinesis power...on people.

I know! To be honest, that's the main reason why I'm purchasing this dlc. That, and making my vampire actually look like a real vampire.

I was so excited when i first heard rumors of Dawnguard! I immediately went to the PSN to download it...and obviously there was nothing there...then i started looking online...and man was that hurtful. I seriously couldnt believe it was for xbox only. I love my ps3...and i always will...wont buy an xbox to play Dawnguard

Actually....my son has an xbox 360 upstairs....and he has a copy of skyrim....but honestly....i have no desire to play it on a different system. I am so used to ps3....it has never even been an option.

Dawnguard will cost $20, 30% of the game's list price. The game offers at least 150 hours fo solid gameplay, Dawnguard maybe 10 hours at max (6-7% compared). I'd call that extremely expensive content and hours.

Plus, it should've been released 4-5 months ago (Fallout 3 had 4 add-ons in this time, 5th on its way), and now they cant compile and convert it to PC? WTH? Is it really so hard to make a working PC version of the content? Arent those people supposed to be professionals, so they could've anticipated this long ago and make it right? The game was released 8 months ago. Are these professionals unable to make a small DLC in that time? Maybe theres only one guy sitting there, 24/7, alone, in the dark, crying and trying. There are huge mods made by the community, and Bethesda can not produce one DLC in 8 months? They should've hired some true professionals from the community to make the work in timely manner.

Im not going to buy Dawnguard if its not out within 3-4 weeks, since Borderlands 2 is coming out at the end of September, and few weeks is not enough for me to play Dawnguard comprehensively and make videos of it..

Well... What are your (anybody's) thoughts on this silence. I think we will be hearing more information about a release tomorrow. As I recently stated before; Bethesda's contract doesn't end until about 5 minutes from now. They're probably counting what remains of today as the last day of their contract.

Edit: And on a side note: don't get me wrong. I like my PS3. I just would have rather received Dawngaurd earlier versus later.

Sadly, I think you may be right. Giving us a release date gives them the responsibility of meeting it. Which they very may well be incapable of doing. Being vague gives them some ground to stand on.

I just had a premonition..... When the DLC comes out for PS3 and PC...it will be $25.00 instead of $20.00 that would start another war... Lets hope that doesnt happen. lmao! I would be furious! I hope it is for $15.00 That would ROCK!

Doubt it, Bethesda is low, but not that low. Then again, the DO have a complete lack of communication with us.
