I'd rate it a 9.5. It has so many amazing moments and i haven't even finished it yet, the other .5 was deducted because i would of liked a set of new Mage robes for my Mage armor perk.

I'll give it a 9, though I'm a bit disappointed by the fact that you can't upgrade/clean the fort and castle its such a minor thing since both houses are pretty good already and a few bugs.

5.

Content is great but the bugs and things that were left out have tarnished it.

I'll give it 8/10 because of minor things that are lacking - cant upgrade/ clean up fort dawnguard, cant marry serana, etc. Content was good though and the story was good

not more than 7 and im generous.
My reasons:
- same questline dawnguard or vampires, wtf?
- too short ( of course if you explore all deep its not short but whatever it still short)
- one of the coolest area we were all waiting for was soul cairn : its just empty as hell so you grab the horse spell the ES and leave
- vampire lord stuck in all dungeons cause he is too big, seriously annoying
- forced to be the good guy (even if youre a Mother Fu.. big vampire lord) just ruins my hope
- no alliance with other vampire possible
- vampires spawning in cities killing everyone
- nothing new for regular vampires they could at least upgrade the vampiric drain spell
- too easy but thats the whole game problem
- last one: beth dont give a sh.. of everyone complains still have burnt face glitch, hood glitche for vampires who are the main storyline... even beta testers said they reported glitches that werent corrected so DLC cant be more than 7/10 from a neutral point of view even if i enjoyed it

9.

It has a completely different feel to vanilla Skyrim. Very immersive. Completely changes the way you can view Skyrim as a whole.

Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed dawnguard...but for 20$ I was expecting a whole new world like shivering isles(yes I'm aware soul cairn is sort of a new world) so therefore 6/10. Also some bugs that brought it down.

7.5

Like:
The story
-Seranas character
-Forgotten Vale
-Whatever that dwemer ruin was
-New weapons/armor
-There are a few cool fights.

Dislike:
-The quests themselves. FAR too much time spent running around looking for items in hidden corners. Way too much time spent simply navigating areas.
-Soul Cairn. I think it's pretty bland. Neat conceptually, but pretty sterile overall.
-Vampire Lord. It's cool, and fun. But as many have said the 3rd person is clumsy and honestly it's pretty limited. It's a cool idea that just doesn't add much. It's pretty 1 dimensional.

9/10 - Would be ten but since i've had the expansion my game has become really glitchy.
Besides that, one of the greatest expansions every :D! Not gunna give spoilers..

8.5/10

The story is great so far. The Vampire Lord power is freakin amazing. I haven't tried the Dawnguard side yet with my werewolf, so I haven't messed with those new perks yet. All in all I'd say it's worth it.

It only losses points for having some bugs (haven't really seen too many) and because the story is kind of short.

On a side note. I've found this DLC's main quest more interesting than the Dragonborn main quest.

Put up a poll.

I'd give it 9/10 overall, a few little bugs and the DLC is heavily biased to the dawnguard faction. But I welcome the new VL form, the changes to werewolves, the new armor and weapons aren't bad so overall I'm pleased. The questline is pleasing, little irritated they didn't add a proper 'block out the sun' option, and the fact that the dawnguard can block out the sun.

I'm disappointed that there isn't a decent horse for a 'good character', we have shadowmere and arvak for the more 'evil' looking characters, but nothing for the good old warrior.

7.5 8

Would have liked a mini village, or just a reason to return to the new locations. Annoyed that they said either castle was upgradable, when it just gives a few new bits as the story progresses. Although loved the Dwemer Forge thing, infact that deserves half a point. Just want replay factor.

I am stuck between 7.5 and 8.

The only thing bringing it down from an 8.5-9 is the bugs. Some pretty big ones were left in (MQ givers can be broken, a follower that messes with you bonuses etc)

9. They promised 20-30 hours of new content and that's what I got just playing one side, not to mention some pleasant surprises along the way.

I'll give it an 8 so far, after about 20 hours and having done half of one side of the main quest and a big side quest. I'm very much enjoying it, and it has been well worth the money.

I would have to say 9, only because of glitches and random crashes. (and the not being able to upgrade the stronghold)

9/10 because I think werewolves could use more perks and abilities.
