dlc about marriage only?

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 6:16 am

You want her you might have to make a few small sacrifices - like your soul.

Mind you if she gave up being a vamp for you then that sounds pretty commited to me.

I think we have properly hijacked this thread by now.
That was my plan .
I guess that is true, and honestly someone could just become a vampire, marry her, and then cure themselves. So I do like your idea of the neck bite exchange.

If they added khajiit, wood elf and marriages so that every race is marriable, then added a few more things to do. But that should be put as a small side offering on another dlc though

A DLC to marry Serana? I wouldn't pay for such a thing and if Bethesda tried making us pay for it, that DLC would rank right up there with Oblivion's horse armor.

Oh and the reason I quoted you is because of your signature. If you're quoting the Pirates of the Caribbean, the quote is actually "why is the rum always gone". I realize this is completely irrelevant to anything and you probably couldn't care less but I figured I would tell you in case you didn't know.

I'm all for extra content in my Skyrim, but as with other DLC suggestions on here, I wouldn't buy it as a stand alone DLC (unless priced at 160 MSP or less). It would HAVE to be bundled into something with a lot more depth to it.

Not a bad idea, we got a few little ones with Oblivion.

Yup.

I'd buy little DLCs just for the extra content (Bethesda did say some DLC would be smaller than Dawnguard) to make my Skyrim more "complete". But if these types of DLCs were priced for like 400 ($5) or 800 ($10), I would wait for a "Deal of the Week" before getting it lol. Don't get me wrong, I like the ideas some people have on here, such as more marriage options or adopting, but they have to be priced right (for me).

Marriage? Nah. More realistic characters and relationships? Maybe, it's something that Skyrim lacks at the moment. Then there's real life of course..

Yes and since Dawnguard introduced the one and only realistic charcter the game has had, lot's of people (me included) want a decent marriage system. If they put more realistic characters in future DLCs these cries are only going to get louder.

As a patch yes, but not dlc. They did it with Lydia. Considering the popularity of Serana, I'd say it's a good idea. I don't see why people object to the idea
Some people will object to anything, be it more lycanthropy-related content, the addition of new weapon types like spears and flails, the very existence of the marriage system, the fact that pickpocket is its very own skill once again, or anything that beefs up anything in the game, even if a certain feature really needs it.

Personally, I won't say no to more content, unless said content is awful in epic proportions (which isn't marriage IMO). That said, I think marriage should be improved upon, but I think it should be part of patches and DLCs, not an entire DLC dedicated to it, unless if it's free DLC, though they generally don't release DLC for free anymore, so probably patches and side content for DLCs.

I would be up for that. If it was reasonably priced and it came with enough to make it worth while to even download then I would probably throw down some MS points on it.

When I read this I keep thinking Horse Armor. Which was basically useless overpriced horse clothes.

What is it with marriage in this game? In any game?

I wonder exactly how many people (who cry for more marriage options in Skyrim) have ever actually been married in real life. Probably not too many. Because if they were/are, they quite likely wouldn't be asking for *more* of it.

I don't want to marry Serana. I don't want to marry anybody. I don't want marriage DLC. I don't want marriage in video games.

If Bethesda wastes their time on a "marriage DLC" it will mean dark days are ahead. For real.

What's with this marriage obsession? Marrying any NPC turns them into a soulless automaton.

As a patch, I'd take it. But I'm not stupid enough to shell out money for a feature like that.
