DLC Poll!

I think it will be in New Canaan or New Reno, multiple people have talked about these places and the leader of Co-op in Westside mentioned a feud between the Omerta's and another family in New Reno, so it could be there, makes sense

DLC content that expands on your courier's rival (the one that didn't take the Platinum Chip job).

I want to stumble upon Lenny and Skynet wandering around on their way to Jacobstown to catch up with Marcus about old times! And they can have Cyberdog and K9 with them.

For some godforsaken reason, I'd pay money for that encounter in the game.

Where's the "no DLC, it invariably adds little of worth and detracts developement time away from the next game proper" option?

Seriously, not a fan of any of the FO3 DLC and find it moderately depressing that DLC for NV is already being discussed when the game's barely been out a week.

I think they should add some co-op side quests that can be updated with a few quests or so each month, kinda like the Borderlands system. I'd love to move in with a friend of mine, posting up on either side of Quarry Junction, sniping and covering each other. Or both of us squaring off on Hoover Dam. Or even taking up against some Legion or NCR encampments and terrorizing the place. Boone and I make it too easy, haha.

Or have something that involves friends. Too many times I've wanted to take my guns for a better test than a Legendary Deathclaw (and what's with the 50 XP cap, even on those?)

Even something like the old Oblivion arena, given choice of guns sets based on weapons earned in the game, without VATS

A Co-op mode would be sick.

Hopefully it would be harder since there are 2 players or more enemies or both.

That would be fun.

Hey, there's already projected add-on for this holiday season, and I think most of the DLC's already mapped out for most of the part by the game's release, save a few details.(Why do you think the courier ends his journey at the end of the main quest?) Besides, with all the physics already in place, I doubt it takes much time.

I want to see the following in a DLC. Any of the following, though all would be downright awesome.

Vault 13
Vault City
Shady Sands, AKA NCR's Capitol
Nevada Test Site
Reno
Chosen One from FO2 as an NPC I can chat with
Some more quests relating to helping get that B29 airborne. Those things aren't exactly fuel efficient and they use a fuel that ran out centuries ago, so how the hell did they get it running?
The Hub
Perhaps even Navarro
Some decent player housing, the stuff in Vegas is thief prone.
Even more boomsticks, mods for boomsticks and ammo for boomsticks
WAY more wacky pop-culture references for Wild Wasteland. I've found four or five in 72 hours of gameplay. Come on guys, some of us want some lulz here, and WW doesn't deliver.
A better radio station. I don't care if it's simply Galaxy News Radio being syndicated. Mr New Vegas is boring and loops the same five songs incessantly. The music on it bothers me not as I'll replace that anyways, all I want is a DJ and some adverts that are lively and fit with the universe. Three dog had that down pat on both fronts.

Looking at the broken caravan or wreckage, whatever it is @ the south-western part of the map, i'm sure the western area will be opened in a DLC at some point.
You can already get over there by jumping, but it's completely flat and barren for now.

Yeah, Borderlands multiplied the goons as they went along. But just some designated co-op area would be pretty damn fun, not to mention a nice expansion on to the system already in place. I mean, these guys have to be remembered for something right? So far it's just been a new place, same basics, you know?

It can't be that hard to put it in.

How fun would it be to wander the wastes wit a real life companion?

There hasn't really been anything to make this game stand alone, and i think a co-op mode would have pushed this game further,

If they gave The Chosen One an official face then I bet some of the old fans would /rage like crazy.
IIRC they went pretty bananaz when they gave the Vault Dweller an official face in Fallout: Brotherhood Of Steel.

Don't really see why we need to go from a clean casino town to a dirty casino town. (Reno)

Vault 13 is kinda... Useless... I mean we've been there two times already and it's inhabitants are all dead or left for Arroyo.

While I do think they should use the left over Van Buren material I wouldn't complain all that much if they made The Hub.
Was a great place.

Yes, we need MOAR weapon mods. Especially Energy Weapons.

Yeah about the Wild Wasteland, it should have a crapload of stuff all around, skimmed through the list on the wiki and it doesn't seem like a trait worth taking since I probably won't find half of 'em anyway.

I can't stand it when people say this. Adding multiplayer to a game that is designed to be purely single player is no easy task. Besides, Bethesda has said numerous that they do not plan to - at any point - bring multiplayer to their main RPG franchises (TES and FO).

Would there be a certain novelty to a co-op Fallout? Of course. Would I love to see it, provided it's well-implemented and doesn't detract from the rest of the game's development? Definitely.

Is it feasible? Absolutely not.

Everyone can disagree as much as they want, but you know you would love to play wit a friend.

A DLC quest where you can team up with a real life player.

-Stronger foes.

-More enemies.

-A area designed for 2 players to quest/fight/discovery. (Maybe the size of Point lookout).

-All caps split equally, right down the middle.

-Powerful boss type characters.

C'mon yall know it would be fun.

Now I haven't finished the game yet, however I'd very much like them to do a 3 and make it possible to play after the main quest. Maybe I'l change my mind at the end, but I doubt it.

I basically want to see a new map, with a ton of stuff in it. I was thinking somewhere further down the Colorado so we could have a simple load on a boat much like Point Lookout starts. I think having it in Laughlin would work well, as it's a casino town itself. Make the map practically all one city, and have little amount of 'countryside'. I'd like to see some places that can teach you certain skills after a certain amount of leveling up in said skill. Like a dojo for more melee and unarmed moves, perhaps a training area to unlock dual weilding pistols and some SMG's. Also, some technicians for teaching how to electronic lock pick.

Then perhaps have the main quest to do with Area 51, which would be another load screen and perhaps start at Rachel. With the main quest deciding which faction takes it over, deciding bit by bit as you make more expeditions into it. This area of Nevada could well be in a state of near enough war due to what happens in Vegas. No aliens though!

Then for the second DLC it could move across into Bullhead City, Arizona. Although I'm not sure about this place. It works geographically, but It doesn't seem the most interesting of places. However that's what's great about a branching history, you can make up what you like!

More exploration with loot to match. I don't mind the game ending like it does. It just makes me take my time exploring and doing side quests. It would be nice to continue on after the main quest, but from what I hear the game ends in a manner that would make it rather awkward.
