I voted other meaning....please fix the original game before adding in DLC to further screw it up. There should not be talk of DLC when there are still massive game breaking bugs out there (missing DLC save corrupting comes to mind...)

Broken steel kind of DLC would be the worst thing ever, AGAIN. Not only did the start of broken steel make no sense at all, the feeling of you accomplishing your (parents) goals seemed so insignificant for the wastes. No-one seemed to give 2 [censored] about it except for a handfull of places. The added content for broken steel was ok, I guess. the quests felt more like "insert random shooter here" instead of the rest of the game (1 mission, 1 path, hundreds of enemies.. enjoy your endless shooting), the perks were average to idiotic with one or two cool perks and at level 30 you were an unstoppable force with every skill up to 80-100 and every special up to 9-10.

Not to mention the amount of work Obsidian will have to do to make the ending feel like part of the game in the DLC. Imagine all the changes you'd have to make.

Everyone can disagree as much as they want, but you know you would love to play wit a friend.

I wouldn't.
If I want to play with friends I'll play Left 4 Dead.

New Canaan please.

This. I was talking to Ringo in the Crimson Caravan HQ and said he was heading North to New Canaan. Perhaps via the Northern Passage?

but with the faction system, all they would need to do is add a large new area, a new faction, then change some of the essential faction checks and interactions (not that many in the game). They would need to add some bits to the endmovie though.

I like all of those ideas. It would also be really cool to be able to go back to D.C. and meet some of the Fallout 3 characters again, and perhaps even meet The Lone Wanderer.

i'm curious why there hasn't been any attempt to use vehicles in this game, or aircraft to a lesser extent.

hell if you want to get down to it even horse riding would be pretty neat.
Western>horses>lots of quests can do done around this.

This, and also for a Caravan DLC. Not the card game, I mean joining/running a caravan to other locations. Maybe even some from earlier Fallouts (Boneyard or Necropolis, anyone?)

I will be very dissapointed in Obsidian if they don't take advantage of Area 51. Its a major US Airfield and it could house all sorts of tech. I really hope theres one with Area 51 and the BoS.

x Other

All of them. :) Whatever they want to create, I'll play it. I found Boone's story compelling and I enjoy good writing. I felt like I was in the game so...more of that, more chapters, yes. It's a big wide world with all kinds of people.

Voted for BoS/enclave and expanded map. Cause i would like more quest for them. It will be fun if you can be recruit by Enclave or BoS and do a lot of quest for them. Not only 1 chain of quest for the power armor like it is now.

All of the above!

And this.

Wheres the option to extend the game ? To let you play after the ending ?

If Obsidian won't do it, there's already mods that will. I'd prefer something like that to be an official add-on, though.

New Canaan please.

Im sure thats a planned one already in the works.

Many refrences to it through out the game via npcs (graffiti etc)

Plus there is that blocked tunnel/path north of vegas that Im betting will open up for it (much like the broken steel tunnel opened up in fallout 3)

I'd like to see areas that were going to be in Van Buren as DLC, maybe traveling with the Crimson Caravan to New Cannan, or visit Denver/Dogtown.

Or Flagstaff, Arizona. (The collector's edition guide says this has been the capital of Ceasar's Legion since 2255) Characters with Neutral-Villified Legion reputation could be captured and taken there, while characters with Accepted-Idolised reputation would be invited.
Yes, despite being one of this forum's biggest NCR fans I would like to see something like this made.

Everyone can disagree as much as they want, but you know you would love to play wit a friend.

A DLC quest where you can team up with a real life player.

-Stronger foes.

-More enemies.

-A area designed for 2 players to quest/fight/discovery. (Maybe the size of Point lookout).

-All caps split equally, right down the middle.

-Powerful boss type characters.

C'mon yall know it would be fun.

I'm still with him on this.

Fallout Tactics? Go play Xbox! (We don't have Tactics)

If not then Area 51 or the Legion place sounds good. Do another Battle Arena spin off but longer you know?

But Area 51 has to have something to balance out guns, I'm not too big on Energy Weapons.

And if you guys are wondering why the game ends at the end of the main quest like before is to sell the DLC that will, shockingly, let you continue the game.

Energy weapons is the one in dire need of some balancing out.
And EW only got like 4 new weapons.

If they gave The Chosen One an official face then I bet some of the old fans would /rage like crazy.
IIRC they went pretty bananaz when they gave the Vault Dweller an official face in Fallout: Brotherhood Of Steel.

Don't really see why we need to go from a clean casino town to a dirty casino town. (Reno)

Vault 13 is kinda... Useless... I mean we've been there two times already and it's inhabitants are all dead or left for Arroyo.

While I do think they should use the left over Van Buren material I wouldn't complain all that much if they made The Hub.
Was a great place.

Yes, we need MOAR weapon mods. Especially Energy Weapons.

Yeah about the Wild Wasteland, it should have a crapload of stuff all around, skimmed through the list on the wiki and it doesn't seem like a trait worth taking since I probably won't find half of 'em anyway.

How about bringing back custom weapons? It was an awesome idea and it would be cool to bring it back, but with more freedom. Like have it guided by repair and weapons skills: higher melee unlocks better melee weapon schematics, higher weapons more weapons, etcetera. I mean Fallout 3 had a good idea, it just wasn't big enough. The finding the schematics was kinda brutal though without some sort of guide.

For sure.
Are there any in New Vegas?
I've yet to find one.

Yes guns, because due to the leveling system and skill requirements for guns, explosives, and all combat types put in place, EWs and guns aren't attractive across the board. Starting a new character would be hard too with the skill requirements being what they are.

So, if they intend to create an appeal to new DLC, due to the division of classes, they'll have to incorporate more guns into and EW based DLC to sell it, unless the new weapons don't have level restrictions.

Yes I know, that's why I said to add it into NV. I was talking about FO3 when saying "they had a good idea"
