Post » Sun May 06, 2012 11:31 pm

would that mean for people like me who pre-ordered but will purchase in store that I can go pick it Thursday? Or if I pre-ordered and I pick in store it's friday?Meh might go for friday anyways,I reach home at like 7 thanks to college.
You should probably read the terms and conditions or whatever of your pre order and when to pick it up, I have no idea

Nope. Skyrim is an offline game you can play it on your console even if you dont have internet (which I assume you do :P )

Unless you got PC but im not an expert with steam or whatever

You will need internet access to logon to steam, but once you have opened Skyrim through steam, you can set steam to offline mode.

Well the shop I ordered my copy at is closed this Friday much like every other shop in Belgium. So I'm planning to swing by on Thursday to see if I can get my copy then or else I'll go back on Saturday.

well my pre-order was basically me going at gamestop, adding 50 dollars for a pre-order copy and getting a receipt. So no infos here.Although considering the fact thursday I finish late,I might just go for friday anyways.I got 48 hours to pick my copy .

I'm still very tempted to just go to Walmart this week and other near by stores and just ask if they sell the game.

Maybe I'll throw in a "Oh and heres the extra 10 for pre-ordering" And pay the cashier.

Think it might work? Haha.

Unlikely. Didn't get my copy of BF3 from Amazon UK until Saturday, and release was Friday. Even if you get lucky, you cannot play it until Friday, due to the use of Steam.

Heh, last console I bought was the PS2, well over 9 years ago. Couldn't imagine playing Skyrim on the 360 or PS3, with no user content or mods.

It's actually not that bad.Heck, oblivion was def amazing because of mods on PC,but I spent thousands of hours playing it on my 360 with all the mods we could get. It's still fun and amazing since you have TONS of things to do.

It's a bummer that the PC get mods and all that would make the game sweet but I much prefer relaxing on my bed with my headset on and gaming on the 360.

I reckon so. Got my email saying it was being dispatched from wherever they're holding them, and I know for a fact that Royal mail don't hold on to items they receive - it's processed and out the door quick as possible to make room for the next lot.

My account on Amazon UK still says "Not yet dispatched" :nope:

But I keep checking, somewhat obsessively every hour or so.

Fingers crossed for early delivery!

I ordered from Amazon and paid extra for overnight shipping, but have no idea when they'll ship it. I'm desperately hoping it comes on Friday. I would cry if I had to wait an extra day

I had an email about my pre-order being shipped yesterday. Normally when I preorder from the same site, it ships on Thursday for a Friday release. Keeping my fingers crossed that it'll arrive tomorrow morning. Oh hell yeah!

Most of those messages are generated when the address label is printed, not when it is put on the truck. So, it could be still sitting on the shipping dock with your name on it.

Some folks on the USA west coast, etc. probably can.

It will take a Steam account to open it for most.

So, It doesn't matter until Steam unlocks the game.

Unless special arrangements were made, my guess is that some of the reviewers did not need steam?

the reviewers were only given the XBOX version to play. The PC version wont be available until the 12 AM EST.

Overnight shipping does not mean Release Day delivery. It usually means it ships over night on the release day, which would mean Monday delivery. Edit your order to change it to Release Day delivery.
