Does skyrim have enough content or not?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 10:07 am

If this is all the quests there are then I did most of them and dunno how much longer the game can appeal to me. Someone please tell me there are more quests than this. Also, did oblivion have more content or not than skyrim?

How much have you played?
I'm 48 hours in and I haven't even finished the big fours quest, hardly done the main quest, and have only done one daedric quest.

About the same as you, 45-50 hours. I've finished the main quest, college of winterhall, theives guild, half of the daedra quests, and the civil war questline. Are there any more good quests? I'm thinking maybe the game will last 10-20 more hours for me before I get bored. Someone tell me there's more quests than what's listed here. I don't really care about miscellaneous.

There's the Companions and the Dark Brotherhood questlines. The companions is very short, the DB is longer though. Also I don't know what you count as "miscellaneous" but there are a lot of quests not listed as "miscelaneous" that do not have anything to do with factions but which you get randomly in cities and have questlines. Also there are a few quests for the bard's college.

Some of the Misc quests are actually pretty interesting and lead into full quests. Also the wiki is incomplete as of now, I believe.

And [censored] you play fast.

You should probably slow down in order to enjoy the game more.

Obviously they won't be as good or as deep as the main hand written quests but they still exist and still provide extra gameplay. The randomly generated quests are still a good part of the game

You might want to check out another game then, maybe something like Modern Warfare 3. The crowd that plays that franchise never seems to complain about a lack of content.

For me it does. I'm 50 hours in and have done half of the main quest and about 5% of the rest of the quests.

That being said most fun I have in TES games is running around killing random monsters, so Dragons are a huge addition for me, too bad normal enemies have a respawn time close to 15 days though.

Don't worry I'm sure you can tweak that in the CK when it's released

I have it but I spent most of my time on skyrim so far. I have a feeling I'm going to end up spending more hours on MW3 eventually though cause of the multiplayer once I finish most of skyrim's quests.

I am like 40 hours into the game and I feel like I have barely touched anything. Despite already being lvl. 30, I have soooo much left to do.

Have you considered starting a second character? I started a new one randomly and I am already getting quests I never got before, plus I am playing a different race/role. It's like a whole new experience.

As an example.

Modern Warfare 3: Completed single player campaign in four hours AND that includes the time spent reloading after the constant crashing. (Playing on Hardened) All the content is in the multiplayer these days.

Skyrim: 32 hours of play, barely touched the main quest, barely touched the faction quests and I've yet to visit any locations in The Reach, Falkreath, Hjaalmarch and Haafingar. Map Markers I have got on my game map are vastly outnumbered by the true number of locations. Just enjoying the lovely hiking.

how do you know you've only done 5% of the rest of the quests? does anyone know roughly how many quests there are anyways?

Umm, wow! This game is epic in size and in content. I'm sure you aint even scratched the surface yet! Pfft, It took me well over 3 hours to clear this 1 dungeon last night and I was trying to actually rush it towards the end cuz it was getting pretty late. Tones, tones, and tones of things to do in Skyrim!!!

yea I have. I'm only doing quests I didn't do in on my first char. Like I'm not going to do the main quest at all on my second char and I've done the college of winterhall questline with him and am going to do the imperial questline cuz I did the stormcrows with my first file. I find it kind of pointless doing quests again. I mean you already know what's going to happen.

Have you explored all the dungeons? Quests do not necessarily lead you to all of them.
