Does the lunar forge work? : V - Skyrim

Sure would be nice if they fixed this. Funny thing is, the enchantment the book mentions isn't even the same as the enchantment that's on the actual Lunar Blades that you find near the forge.

Just to resurrect the dead thread, I got it to partially work.

Forged a mod katana, but it just showed as a normal one...gave it to lydia, and it flared green, similar to the lunar weapons. Took it back off her, and it lost the enchant.

I did it with both moons, neither full, shining into the forge.

That was making Black Soul gems. The effect lasted for 24hrs. That worked once a month. This doesn't work at all.

The Shade of the Revenant worked once every 8 days, not once a month.

And, yeah, the Lunar weapons are pretty useless anyway.

Yea, I guess it was. Still...8 days - 30 days. It wasn't something I planned for. If it happened it happened. The point was it worked, unlike the LF.

I wouldn't call an extra 10 - 15 damage worthless. No matter how you look at it.

Yeah, but you can only get that extra 10-15 damage for a couple of hours a night. I never remembered I had the thing on me until noon the next day.
