Hello all. I do plan on making a return quite soon but am catching up with the story as of now.

I just thought I would let you guys know that I am currently reading and typing a summary of the story so far, so that me (and others, possibly) can jump right into the game again. I am thinking of it like a "Dog City Trials Sparknotes," actually. I'll be speaking to you all again quite soon. I'm glad to see the game has been trudging on, can't wait to get back in.

Dalek! Save me from these madmen!!! :P

It'll be good to have you back. And sorry for not being very helpful with this GM thing. I kinda lost interest in posting but still stick around to read and help if I can.

I've read your post, Blak'ika, and I like the description you've made of the feral dogs. I just wanted to point out a rather small (or big) oversight I made when I initially made this RP.

In the location descriptions, I wrote that the only way in or out of Dog City was either 1. With Runner gear, (nearly impossible unless you work for someone already within the city) or 2. Through Customs.

Customs, made up of the Uplink and High Street towers, are the only two towers that have access to the ground floor. No other tower does due to either collapse, burn damage, blockage, ghouls, dogs, etc. So this makes Uplink and High Street very important locations, as without them, anyone who isn't a Runner would be trapped in Dog City. (Of course, given government regulation, only people with clearance to leave Dog City can leave through Customs. Think of a Rapturesque scenario. You can enter but you can't leave unless you're special. So in essence, anyone who isn't a police officer, politician, or Runner in Dog City is trapped.)

Given this, the question arises, how do people come to Dog City if the ground is so dangerous? Most if not all people could not make it to the entrances to these towers alive. I didn't much consider that but I suppose that it could function on a "those who arrive, survive," basis. That, however, would make very slim arrivals, especially considering all of the diversity we have in the game.

In theory, Dog City would be made up of generation after generation of the same gene pool, with maybe 5 or 6 new arrivals per year, giving the city a rather limited population. But this isn't the case. Dog City is sprawling.

Just wanted to put that out there if anyone had any good ideas as to how to retcon that.

Subway tunnels. Easy to seal off to make a safe way to get past most ghouls and dogs, if exits are near Hightower/Uplink.

So perhaps an outpost on the outskirts of Dog City, made up of a few Dog City police officers/Greyhound One units that secure a subway/sewer entrance? From there, it takes you beneath the city and directly to the maintenance corridors of the Uplink/High Street towers, where you take a maintenance elevator to Customs?

I like this idea, and it would make sense, as the entirety of the Uplink/High Street towers can't possibly be secured, but if the elevators are working, there's no need to clear each floor.

Sounds good. So, should the gate I approached be one of these outposts at a subway entrance?

Yes please.

I should also apologise because I scanned over DG's post, I scan read, it's a bad habit, and I thought that his character had knocked on the door(For some reason, I should slow down when I read).

Magus doesn't have to CC the security, unless you want to RP it out. I don't see much of a reason to RP the security since its not entirely major. May just be better if we all make our way to the penthouse and I get chewed out haha
