So I found a giant camp....and none of its inhabitants were happy when I got too close. So I stayed back, saved, and walked up to a giant. When he got mad, he hit me ONE time and I flew like 30 feet in the air. Has anyone killed a giant yet? And for the record, I haven't actually tried to fight one yet. I just let one hit me after I got too close.

I did the exact same thing you did... I also ventured into a cave and found a Draguar (or however it's spelled) Overlord who two-shotted me.

I was one shot by a giant, flew up in the air, yup. But it was pretty epic. :thumbsup:

I saw Todd walking beside them, how come they didn't attack him.
False advertising ?.?
I went flying up a mountain when they hit me.

I don't think there is ANYONE who has managed to kill a Giant yet, at least not alone.

I have killed one - think i'm about lvl 19 and took advantage and him being on a ridge below me to begin with allowing me to use a shout which did a fair bit of damage. He prob had about half health when he got up to me afterwhich i just hacked away at him with my sword.

If you walk up to one who is just wandering around, they won't attack you. If you enter one of their camps, however...

I just kept flying up through the air until the game reloaded to the last checkpoint. I wouldn't have been surprised to see a moon float by.

No because later I found a giant traveling with 2 mammoths and they let me get close. I guess it's only at their camp they don't want to be bothered.

Killed one at level 10 ish maybe 9, kited him around a fallen log. Thanking whatever god that he wasn't brite enough to just step over it.

i found the giant camp and sniped two of them dead. each time waiting till i was hidden for 2x the damage and with an elven helmet the boosts arrow damage.

leveled up and then some and increased my sneak skill. never got hit once. used about 50 arrows

I am in the process of finding the Greybeards, and a found a giant incampment -_-

Lydia got killed, my horse just stood there, and he club slammed me. Amazing game either wayXD

On that note 'ZOMG they run fast'.

even in the camps they wont just attack you. They start to make certain body language that is obviously hostile and basically means "Im big and I'll hurt you if you don't go away." They try to intimidate you. So do the mammoths. They don't WANT to hurt you but they will if you don't heed their warnings. It's AWESOME!!

I found a couple of them after I was drawn to a camp with a big bonfire. They are fairly slow and I ran around blasting fire at them, but one swing from the giant's club and I was a goner. I think I was about level 5 at the time. Gonna wait a while until I try it again.

I was dumb enough to try and fight a Mammoth, not knowing that giants and mammoths go around together. I got flanked by the giant and catapulted. Not like i could've taken the mammoth anyways lol

I have with my L4 mage on master difficulty. Much easier for a ranged class just to avoid him though takes a while. He did however make quick work of my fire atronach if he got too close to it.

Best way is find a rock they can't climb over and just move round it firing spells/arrows, thats what I did ha. Even easier with mammoths.

Dragons are supposed to be the boss monsters in the game..

I was just running minding my own business when I stumbled upon a giant and dragon fighting each other and the Giant won, think I just shot the dragon twice with a bow and that was it.. pretty much a free dragon soul.
