Bashing heavily-armored warriors with bones? No thanks ;)
It would be nice, but I wouldn't care if they were never cared in Skyrim.

Here's an idea, play it on PC. Then you don't have to ask the devs to allow you something that the maker of your chosen platform won't allow. Beth isn't going to give you Dragon Bone Weapons.

For one month only and only for the first two (Does that include the Kinect addition?). That's why it's a timed exclusive, one that we've been aware of since before the game was even released.

Unless, at some later date, they add them as DLC. It certainly won't be part of a FREE patch.

Lets also reflect why you don't have weapons made of bone... they don't hold an edge very well ;). Are you going too run around carrying a tooth? Which by the way would only be good for stabbing, its 'edge' is not going to be sharp as steel.

Its hard, which makes it good for armor, but it is not sharp which is what you need for a good weapon. Now I could see a dragonbone hammer, or a dragonbone mace. Which would be of bone, and have teeth or fangs for the spikes on the sides. A dagger I could even see, but you couldn't make a realistic sword or axe out of dragonbone.

Have either of you guys talking about bones not making good weapons seen the modded version of dragon bone weapons. They look amazing and the edges of the weapons are all infused with metal. They don't have to be a pure bone sword just like the armor is not pure bone. Besides that it's a fantasy game not reality. They can make weapons out of tree bark if they want to.

Yeah I've got the mod but the only weapons I use are the bow and 1H axe. I really didn't like the look of the 1H sword though and the rest were a bit shabby imo. Except maybe also the 2H mace. If beth do add these weapons at a later date I hope they look a lot better than some of the mod ones (take notes :P).

I too have the mod. Although, to be honest I have yet to make the weapons. I haven't leveled my smithing high enough to already dragon armor.

Weapons, armor...It doesn't matter they all look ridiculous, as far as I'm concerned. Even the in game armor just not cut it. You look like Fred Flintstone. With the bone weapons, you are transformed into Captain Caveman...unga-bunga.

The bone and scale armor is a good concept, but they couldn't come up with anything better than that?

If they took everyone's advice we would have one of the worst games in history. We would have flying penguins who when caught aflame would explode, killing entire towns in the process. Bethedia looks at the forums, gets a general idea where the feelings of the community are at, and takes it into consideration when they have their meetings and brainstorms.

Leave off the grammar and punctuation comments, please.

There may be forums out there that require perfect grammar, punctuation, and spelling, but this one does not.

If a post is so bad that you can't understand it, please ignore it and move on. It takes a lot less effort to ignore a post you have problems reading/understanding than it does to post about it, and then read your warning and posting suspension notice for spam and flaming.

I love both the fact people are laughing at the idea of bone weapons in a game that uses glass combat equipment, and the fact that the thread didn't make it 5 posts before someone used the usual "play it on PC" response.

Yes, that's true... but, that game you describe sounds pretty damn cool, doesn't it?

Level scaling is a direct result of complaints from Morrowind.

Here's an idea, not everyone wants or can afford to buy a fancy computer just to play skyrim on.

Prove it. If your statement were correct we would have a ranged killcam toggle by now.

How much does an Xbox or Ps3 cost? I paid $400 for my current computer three years ago and it runs Skyrim at a visual quality equal to (or better than) either of the consoles.

This statement is so true... People are dissing bone weapons but make no comment about a sword made of glass? And I also agree about the "play it on PC" response... I personally cant stand it when people say that. and also hate it when they say that you can buy a good computer for the same price as a PS3 or 360... B.S. Are we just supposed to be mindless sheep and all play it on the PC because of the fact that it can be modded?

Dont PS3 & 360 users have the right to ask for simple items like that? According to PC users we dont......

looking on eBay i could buy a second hand xbox 360 console for around £45 that's about $73 and if i wanted to buy a brand new one i could get one for £150 which is around $243, not really that expensive and it plays the game just fine, i can also buy loads of other popular games which you don't get on the PC, but i'm not trying to turn this into a PC verses xbox versus PS3 versus wii thread, i'm just saying that it's easier for people to buy a xbox and play games on it, im a casual gamer, i don't play the games that much and it seems silly to buy a $400 PC when id hardly use it?
