Dragonborn: Six Days Left! Discussion: Worst case scenario?

Post » Thu Nov 29, 2012 10:45 am

Worst Fear: Apocrypha = Soul Cairn

Also: Final Confrontation with DB = Final confrontation with Alduin
i wont get my hopes up for apocrypha being huge and i dont think we will spend much time there :-( but who knows.

Worst case: If DB has quests like Skyrim and a boss battle on par with Alduin.

Worst case: I can't play it because Beth has some kind of an exclusive deal with Microsoft and it will not be released on PC for a month or more.
But that would be ridiculous. They would never do such a thing. Think of the christmas sales and how they would piss off their customers!
LoL!

I am right, am I? They wouldn't do it... right? RIGHT?

Personally, I think it'll fulfill the Bethesda tradition of making DLC/expansions that are much better than the source material (see Tribunal, Bloodmoon, Shivering Isles, Point Lookout).

- PC version getting delayed
- Requirements to actually start the DLC (Ex. Dawnguard's level requirement)

hmm for me worst scenario is crapy looking armour and clothing or more un feminine armour and clothing .

im interested to see the attack moves of spears hopping its not just lunge forward and throw .

hoping there will be better looking DENSE forests in Solstiem then there was in skyrim .

hoping it will be much bigger then Dawnguard and the landscape of the island will be big and not tiny .

the player cant use spears, only enemys, and i dont think solstheim is going to have these forests, some places will feel very morrowindish i guess. and of course its bigger then dawnguard, see dawnguard as the knights of the nine of skyrim. but bigger, and see this as the big expansion of the game. And about the size of solstheim? i have heard about the size of the Reach, and apocrypha about the size from markarth to dragons bridge.

there are no spears.

This. Although it's seeming more likely. Which is sad.

I really hoped Bethesda wouldn't just pull the, "oh, you know that thing you've all been asking for since before Skyrim came out? we put it in! But you can't use it. Trolololol." *Bethesda skips away, middle fingers in the air*

So in this thread, we fire up the Negativity Wagon, which is the faster, angrier version of the hype wagon.
Great mindset to put yourselves in.

Worst case?

A riekling throws a spear into you, but the spear never fades away, forcing you to play in 1st person or else be constantly reminded of how Bethesda trolled us all.
