Ebonhart Pact

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 3:22 pm

Come in friends of the Ebonhart Pact. this is a thread for those who are going to be in the Ebonhart Pact in the MMO. Nords, Dunmer, and Argonians.

Come in. discuss the Ebonhart Pact. whether you think it was a bad idea or not. Whether you think the entire faction will fall apart at the seems simply because of it's members. Anything about the Ebonhart Pact.

I personally think the battles between members of this faction will be legendary.

there will be a clear power struggle in our pact, we argonians will probably docile as always (unless the hist commands other-wise) but the nords and dunmer will clearly be fighting for control at every turn. what i really want to know though, is why the nords sided with dunmer and vice-versa, they both hate each other. strange bed fellows aside, weare bound to be the greatest faction, we have the greatest warriors, mages and assassins :chaos:

I don't look forward to fighting among side sweaty Nords and slimey Argonians. I imagine both of those races smell. I hope there is a spell of Damage Smelling on self. I will have to enchant my Armour with that spell.

argonians

greatest warriors, mages and assassins

You mispelled Dunmer.

Same here Berzelius, it's not like we need any ally as we are the greatest power in Tamriel. I don't want to fight with barbarians and animals.

trust me, the feeling is mutual ash-svckers, but you cannot deny the ability of the shadow scales, at least, not after we put a dagger in your eye without anyone being the wiser. now, we should turn our hate on our pathetic enemies and crush them under our heels, we will kill each other when they are out of the way, yes?

I have trouble seeing the three races getting along, but if the dunmer have raspy voices, I will probably play as one.

The power struggle and personal fights within our own ranks has already started. I have no qualms fighting alongside the Dunmer or Nords. it it the soul within that matters. if you disrespect me simply because of my race. i will send that soul to Sovngarde.

I personally see an alliance between the nords and our race to be beneficial. What I do have a problem with, though, is that those filthy reptiles SHOULD be in a cage at the slave market in Tel Aruhn, not on the battlefield with us.

i love this faction.

i love how they put my 3 favorite Races in one Faction. I love how they all hate each other.
What i dont like is that certain community Members dont understand that they are *Humans* and not *Dunmer* or any of the sort. You also cannot be racist at a fictional Race, that is silly!

OT: the problem i see with this Faction is that the most popular races excluding Kahjit are all in one now. I think most players will stick to the Ebonheart pact cause dayum Argonians, Dunmer and Dovahkiins (cause [censored] Skyrim! If FUS ROH DAH is not their Racial ill make angry forum threads!) in one Faction.

And realy who is going to play Daggerfall Covenant? Orcs and Redguard are probably the least liked Races in the Game (according to polls) slightly behind Bosmer.

Obviously the Ebonhart Pact didn't last long. It was just a short-lived peace treaty.

"Praise ALMSIVI, if making common cause with the beasts and the barbarians is their will, who am I to oppose them. Their will be done!"

I am seriously looking forward to re-exploring Morrowind during a time when the Tribunal ISN'T in decline(or at least I hope its not, shouldn't be). How this Pact will work is very intriguing as well. If you ask me, the Dunmer were probably asked by Vivec to cooperate, and perhaps he himself set up the treaty with the Nords and the Argonians. Curious to see if there will be on-going slaving into the Black Marsh, and how that affects things.

I think it's a perfectly logical agreement. Petty feuds need to be set aside in order to save Tamriel from a Daedric Prince. We knew from the start that 'unlike alliances will be formed', and I think they've pulled it off well.

But anywho. DAGGERFALL COVENANT FTW! ;)

i really hope being in the same faction does not give my less than noble "allies" immunity to my poisons, i plan on stabbing every dunmer back i see and slashing every racist nord's throat (non racist nords will get a sample of my greatest skooma or hist sap, which ever they want). if my so called brothers-in-arms prove to be immune to my assasinations tragic accidents on the battle field or perhaps my horrid cookign ability i will have to perform the black sacrement to get the brotherhood to destory them find a better mercenary to help us in a battle

I don't think the developers thought the factions out very much at all. I think they just said, "okay, the provinces closest to each other team up! Brilliant! Ha-ha, pay me lots of money! Ha ha ha!"

I guess it's easier to have your allies closer on the map, or else you'll have to march through enemy lands until you can help the other..

I'm already starting to formulate ideas for a guild within this faction, but making it inclusive of all three races will be difficult from a lore perspective so I may just make a single race guild instead.

I was a bit surprised to see these 3 races grouped together. I guess I'll be part of the pact if I decide to play the game (it would be my first time playing a MMO) as I've played as a Nord in Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. Hopefully the lizards will keep the dark ones in line (just kidding).
