So since the player that did the best in a PVP server gets to become emperor, let's make up what will happen as Emperor. So is it possible to have power over Tamriel and rule over the players? Or is just gonna be like Fable 3 in which you're only a leader by title..

I don't want to be some smelly Emperor. I do want to try, and be the best at PVP though.

Hahaha, well I didn't think of that but I expect someone like that will not be Emperor for long. His own faction might even make it a point of losing just to get him out.

From the article, it sounds like Emperor is just a title for the leading PvP of your faction. How they determine who that is is still under development. Most likely they will not get any powers or benefits.

I probably will try to become Emperor if it means I get to play like a real monarch in which I get to actually rule the realm. Though i doubt it will happened.

I think this is the stupidest thing I read on the scans....
Great way to ruin the lore... so .. in the second era the Emperor of all Tamriel was "GOKU SSJ4 the 1337"

Well I'm not expecting bethesda to canonize the events of the game. Other wise... :swear:

True, I'm hoping that bethesda will ignore most of the lore in the game and only canonize the parts that makes sense. I doubt that 1337 pwn N88B will be mention in TES 6.

I'm not sure what you mean by the player that does best on a PVP server? What I read on the leaked scans said that the best player in the fraction when taking the capital will be made emperor, it uses a point system. It also said it's more for bragging rights than anything. So really it doesn't mean anything.

Yes I was, but I'm not saying that wont happen. Personally, I'll look for the PvP-RP server and hope for name restrictions. As far as lore goes, any Emperor's of this time are more likely to be considered ambitious warlords in comparison to the actual Emperors, especially since though they may hold the Imperial City, they don't control Tamriel like many of the other Emperor's did. its kind of like, Emperor lost its meaning during this time in history. Its still of importance, just not that much.

What it actually says, is the player with the "highest contribution to the war" will be named Emperor. So that doesn't necessarily mean PvP, but I expect that is involved somehow. To me this just means they're working on it.

Thats probably not gonna happen. It'll prolly be a title like the PvP titles in WoW, except you can easily lose this one.

That's because he was discretely killed by the Morag Tong when he installed a cat-scratcher in the Imperial Palace. It was all very hush hush.

Most likely you'll get some perks, such as special armor and weaponry to use. Although I would expect hefty rewards for whoever is able to kill you.

I don't remember the Champion of Cyrodiil being in the dark brotherhood in the lore but alas you could in your game if you wanted to... I don't know why people think this matters to the lore.

I can imagine it now. lil Timmy is now the ruler of the Empire. However assassins by the name of Leroy jenkins and Chuck Norris 12 killed Timmy. As a result. Leroy and Chuck get a reward, and Timmy is crying to his mommy.

Well when it comes to MMO communities, anything is possible. Best options though is to get guilds/clans that enjoy that sort of thing to cooperate. They'll help set the tone for the community. After that, player created content is just a matter of imagination.
