I HAVE ONE VERY INTERSSTING BUG, which wasnt mentioned, i think:

i love assault mode. so far i did see it TWICE that one of the attacking team (nanosuite + pistols only) did have an scar rifle! when he was invisible the laser disappeared. when he was visible, the laser was visible as well (just as a kind of proof that i really saw it :P )

it happened today and some days/weeks ago. i tried everything to get the assault weapon as well, but couldn't find any way. i think this is a bug?? please confirm!

The attacking team can pick up dead players' weapons.

X-43 Mike's muzzle flare can be seen through walls, denoting their presence. If one looks carefully, it will appear as yellowish streaks. It's not occluded for some reason.

I was reading though this and I don't recall anyone stating this but here goes:

Single player unable to pick up Catalysis containers no matter what is done. It will display you may have received some but it does not register when you look at the nano-suit upgrades.

Multiplayer bugs:

If you die before you activate your killstreak reward, and get another killstreak after respawn, the display to the left of the screen will show that the new reward (max radar) is available, but activating it will activate the one you saved up, while the new one is lost.


Also some more Medals/Awards Bugs:

"Drunk and Disorderly: play after 11:30 pm and finish in the bottom third 3 times in a row" is actually rewarded if you finish in the TOP third 3 times (not bottom, mislabeled or misimplemented).

"Dirty dozen: score 12 kills without dying" is often rewarded inproperly (e.g. when you go 7 Kills and 4 Deaths...). Another counter reset failure probably.

"Most motivated: get highest objective score" is actually rewarded when you have the highest overall score, while somebody else has the highest objective score (e.g. Crash Site points).

Ok, here's one that was brought up during the beta demo and still hasn't been fixed.

Sub-menus starting a additional instance of background music

This is especially prevalent if I want to switch attachments or unlock something between rounds in multiplayer as I get a new instance of background music for:

Entering the server lobby
Clicking on Customize equipment
Selecting a Profile
Clicking on a weapon
Clicking on an attachment
Clicking Done to return to the equipment menu
Clicking back to return to the profile selection
Clicking back to return to the server lobby

That is 8 (Or more if I wish to spend a dog-tag unlock in game and or customize more then one weapon) instances of background music layered ontop of each other, which not only sounds like complete garbage but is also EXTREMELY LOUD.

Probably its just me but the game does not save the option for crouch toggle. I have go set this feature to on each time i play the game.

I, as an attacker, can absolutely NOT pick up an enemies weapon! please proof and tell me how you do it!
and why did i never see an attacker with scar except this two times? there seems to be a bug in which ever way?

more bugs:

1. Fire select toggle in multiplayer often doesn't work.

2. Weapon models show on enemies even though they are cloaked, same thing goes for laser sight attachments, the laser will appear cloaked from first person perspective, but is visible to everyone else.

3. Sometimes after reloading with weapon pro, the aim down sights button will cease to function for several seconds. this is not a lag issue, as all other commands (armor mode, movement, jumping shooting etc) work fine, you just can't aim downt he sights for a several seconds :\

4. Sometimes attachements will not load when you spawn in.

5. Numerous occasions where I have spawned at the start of the round with a clear line of sigh to an enemies back at short range. Not exactly fair for the other team that spawns give players free kills straight away.

6. Not really a bug, but there is no create server option, which means you can't load up an empty map and go exploring. kinda hard to explore a map thoroughly in the middle of a battle.

7. Game spy server browser always displays pings incorrectly ( I play on Australian servers, and it always displays the ping as over 100 even though when I'm in game I have a ping of about 50). It also refreshes the entire server list, rather than the ones you filtered or favourited, even when looking at the favourites tab, so it takes forever to refresh the small list of servers that are relevant to the player. It also has no Auto retry function for joining servers, doesn't allow for double clicking, and it smells bad (honestly, it's one of the worst server browsers I've ever seen, and since the game is on steam why can't I use steam's server browser instead?)

When I slide or kick a car, I get a partially black screen (Flaming objects are visible.) Can also happen during explosions. Odd because this is also an issue with older Crysis games.

Did you deactivate motion blur? That's the problem... I had the same problem but after re-activating motion blur everything was fine again. And since there is no toggle for motion blur in the game, it is no bug ;)
Nevertheless, fix it Crytek !

Creating a new profile in singleplayer mode can reset all your multiplayer data

Fix for multiplayer: switch back to the older profile, restart game
Fix for singleplayer: unknown

Cannot switch weapon when reloading the underslung grenade launcher. The animation just twitches when you press 1 or 2 or whatever you use to change weapons.

I think I have found a significant gameplay bug.

When using the pistol laser attachment, shots fired while cloaked will go in the wrong direction in some circumstances. Have a look:

To recreate the bug, equip the Stealth Nova (attach pistol laser and silencer). While not cloaked, fire your first shot at a wall or object. Step to the side so that you are no longer aiming at the same point. Then, activate stealth mode and continue to fire. All subsequent shots while cloaked will strike where the first shot landed, regardless of where you aim, or the direction you are facing. When cloak is deactivated, the weapon returns to normal function.

I have reproduced the bug on the PC and PS3 versions of the game. It occurs with both Nova and Hammer. I have not tried the Xbox 360 version. I have not tried to reproduce the bug during online play.

I love this game. I hope Crytek smashes this bug and others as soon as it gets the chance.

Hi guys, Another few for the list here.

I'm running with a 3 screen setup here first of all. These issues do not apply to single screen mode!

-Eyefinity/surround reolutions eg: 5760x1080 seems to have a problem
rendering smoke, fire and other special effects correctly at certain distances (close/mid-range)

Only 1 of 3 monitors may display the effect correctly.
Selecting the lowest grouped resolution appears to resolve this issue.

-Fmv's may appear to be cropped, rather than centered or stretched
-Fmv's sound sometimes has slow playback and produces studder.

I'm Running an i7 950 with a hd6970 and an x-fi x-music card.

All problems solved using single screen mode @ 1920x1080 as noted before

Toggle for crouch and aim down sight setting doesnt save.. You have to change this every time you start up the game.
Happens in both Single and multi player

Make this sticky Cry-Adam... Otherwise people will continue creating thread that discuss a problem which is already known...

Hedgehog8, if you have time, it would be a great idea to edit your first post, including the other bugs mentioned in later posts... In this way everybody could see what is known and what's unknown, without scrolling through numerous pages...
