Is every X-01 missing its left leg!

Post » Fri Jan 15, 2016 3:33 am

Getting frustrated, I want to build rp wise, an X01 PA, from salvage. I know of court 35, but again want through salvage.

Except, every X1 I've found been missing its left leg. Got 2 helmets, 3 torsos, extra arms and right legs. But not one damn left leg.

Anyone else having this problem? Did the commmders tell the operator's if they have to abandon their PA, take the left leg?

Or am I really unlucky?

That's odd. I've been able to find left legs in my game.

Every Incomplete set of Power Armor I have found has had a difficult to obtain piece. in My current character it is right arms. In My last character it was Helmets.

I'm on my 4th character, even though I only finished the game once so far. Everyone of them has found a complete set of X-01 at the National Guard Training Yard. There are 2 sets of X-01 there. The one inside the building that triggers the Sentry Bot has always been a partial set, but the one outside in a blue cargo container that has a locked door has always been a complete set.

I belive it's related to your lvl as I have had full t-51 suits spawn there because it's a place that is visited relatively early on. Next playthru I will deff stay away from there till lvl 31

This game has a bad habit of making it difficult to find X-slot piece for any armor. The heavy combat armor is like a kick in the groin about it too. Kill a Gunner captain, get everything but the right arm.

There is a Trailer between Finch Farm and the National Guard Armory that has been reliable at spawning X-01 pieces if I have avoided getting too close the the National Guard Armory/Training Ground to allow X-01 to be spawned.

The South Boston Military Checkpoint can spawn a complete X-01, but there is a partial suit to the South/Southwest West at a Military Road Checkpoint that seems to be based on character level as well.

The Abandoned Shack in the Glowing Sea, another partial set.

Atom Cats can have a "chance" of having a piece of X-01 Armor.

My current character has found enough pieces between three partial suits to make one complete suit.

EDIT fixed direction

In my play through it's left arms. I've managed to find/scrounge together two complete sets of X-01 (which I've since upgraded completely to Mark VI), but I have two more sets that are both missing the left arm, plus another couple of chest pieces, helmets and assorted leg/arm pieces. Knowing where power armor spawns now, I will definitely change how I explore on my next play through.

You can buy a set of heavy combat arms at the store in Vault 81. Overseer's armor.

That's where I got my full set. Previous 2 were partials (together did not make a full suit).

Go to the Atom Cats. Wait 48hrs (sitting in a chair for 2x24hrs). Quicksave standing in front of the woman who sells the power armor. Check to see if she has any X-01. If not, quickload. Check. load. repeat. Took a while, but I was able to get a couple x-01 pieces.

If you get one, but not the one you want, buy it. Wait 48hrs, save, and do it all again.

I'm level 47 and went to the 35 court to get the x01 because I just recently found out it's supposed to spawn there and when I get to the top the alarm never sounds to release the sentry boy and asualtron I can see the power armor threw the window but can't get to the buttons to get access

Mine is missing the right leg. Not so worried about it since it's just for decoration tho. Hopefully we will find these missing parts.

Do you have the sneak perk to not set off traps? If you do I think it will not work as the alarm is set off by a trip wire near the top of the ramp up. So unless the doors to the buttons are pickable or you are able to use the console you are out of luck.

Just dropping in to give my experience with this: it's not every set, but the left leg does appear the least for me.

So... you're saying that most of those suits have it left out?

These are level specific. I got T-51s or T-60s... But you are right about the complete set.
