Everybody send a support e-mail

Honestly, the best thing we can do at this time is flood them with support e-mails. I'm sure they are already aware of the problem, but hey, at least I can say I did something now other than gripe and moan on forums.

It's a good idea. Even if they should know about the problem, they haven't said anything about it all in the upcoming patch. I'll send an email tomorrow.

It's interesting to note that no gaming critics or media reviewers, as far as i'm aware, were given a copy of the PS3 version prior to release. Perhaps Bethesda were fully aware of the lag issues, and knew that if they allowed reviewers to play the PS3 version that the problem would rear its head, lowering the critic's rating of the game, and thus reducing sales numbers. It's a pretty cynical way of looking at it, but I can't help but thinking this way after being so thoroughly disappointed. I hope that this issue is fixed with a patch, and that everybody who's experienced it has emailed bethesda; even if it seems unlikely that they'll do anything it's better to ruin their reputation in the process so buyers are fully aware in the future. I was originally going to buy skyrim for both PS3 and my new PC (when it arrives), but if this issue is not officially recognized and refunded, or addressed, then I will be very reluctant to buy the PC version, and probably won't.

Of course they knew about it. You think anything like this gets past QA without being noticed?

You get the canned non committing useless replies that PR and management wrote for customer support.

I sent one in, I doubt it'll do any good though. But look on the bright side, the Xbox version works and that's all that matters right Bethesda?

I sent mine. They responded and just gave me the run around. 1. Turn off PS3 and give it a rest. 2. Re-install game. 3. Reload on another persons PS3 and see if it works fine.......like its actually a problem with my PS3. We are not going to get a fix for this.....I can feel it!

Great idea, however i dont think it will do much. They have OUR hard earned dollars already they are merely swimming in the profits. You know how easy it is to write an empty promise. The next person to write something after me, i will buy you a brand new HDTV....you see how easy it is. Everything they do now may just be empty promises. They are waiting for our short term memory to kick in so they can sweep this under the rug, or think we will tire of fighting them and give up.

YOU KNOW WHAT, NEVER GIVE UP, fight for what you want that makes this game better. If you want higher FPS email, contact them, fight for what you believe in. Dont let them walk away with your money for a mediocre product. Never give up on this, keep emailing them. If we stop we let them win and they will be swimming in the profits, if that happens they are gonig to do this to other gamers who do not have such knowledge that we have. Educate others about these issues. If they dont fix this, this will be on major gaming websites and they will get horrible PR, slowly but surely their profits will go down, little by little remember guys. WE DO NOT DESERVE THIS, we are first class gamers being treated like third class citizens, its time we stand and fight companies that do things like this to us gamers. VOTE WITH YOUR WALLETS

I sent my email explaining I'm returning the game since a patch obviously won't fix what they couldn't fix in the course of normal game development. What a sh*t sandwich, I've really wanted to enjoy this game for 6 months!

Don't waste your time, they aren't going to fix it. What we need to do is get the game recalled for Playstation and have them give everyone a complete refund.

Maybe if we complained to Sony about the broken game, Sony will keep their eye on Bethesda, thus requiring them to give a crap about the PS3 port?

Eh, a boy can dream!

Speaking of Sony... aren't their own internal Q & A teams supposed to exist to detect these problems?
