After Xmas I have enough money for some PC parts, but I don't really think I need to upgrade anything.

Maybe buy another monitor, because I get flickering with this [censored] ViewSonic one.

Got me a nice HTC Thunderbolt phone that i've promptly loaded with some goodies. Already plan to freak people out with my ringtone being the snarl from the Predator creature. :chaos:

It isn't a super lavish gift nor was it something I could have unwrapped on December 25th however it's what I wanted. That made the biggest difference for me upgrading from that old samsung thing I had.

Hey look at it this way. If you got few presents you probably had to give few presents. I myself had to give 7 people presents this year and I got like 5 and a half back with my parents giving me one as a collective and my little brother not really having the money to buy a present but I got a cute little token from him bought in those 99 cent kind of stores.

And now I'm broke having spent nearly all of what little I earn as a cashier on gifts.

Chances are however, that you, my friend, have a nice thick fat wallet to pat and can buy yourself your own stuff :D (or perhaps I'm being silly).

I also got some gorgeous stuff from The Body Shop, 11.22.63 by Stephen King, A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson, jewellery, clothes, Top Gear Series 16 on DVD and many many lollies.

Sadly, I didn't seem to get any games, despite having an extensive list of them this year. That's because, on the plus side, I got a new HDTV that will make my gaming experience 1000 times better than before. So long old standard television that makes all modern day games look like ass! And besides, I haven't gotten all my gifts yet, they'll be dripping in over the next week, I got some cash to get the other things I'll want, and my birthday is still a month away. I'm all right.

Still, I would have liked to have been playing Dark Souls right now. Ah well.

I also got a new deer skull to add to my collection (can never have too many of those!). And I still have a cool sword with an oxidized finish that I got a couple months ago, though it was technically supposed to be an Xmas present from last year.

I got Earth (The Book) - A Visitor's Guide to the Human Race from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and it's hilarious.

I know VII is the popular one, but there's something about IX that drew me towards it more (setting was a large factor). Regardless, a physical copy of VII was just too expensive and I couldn't pass up a $10 deal for a physical copy of IX, but if I want, I can simply go get a PSN code card and purchase the digital version of VII... might go for Chrono Trigger, too (pretty sure I saw it on there).

New PC. Built it myself, and I VERY proud of myself.

I also got a lot of socks and shower gel, because y'know, Christmas isn't Christmas without a [censored] ton of socks and shower gel.

-$60 in Cash
-A lot of gift cards, including $200 to Sears (the purpose of which is supposed to buy dorm room furniture for when I go to college next year), and $160 in gas (my personal favorite). Also, about $60 to Wal-Mart which I'm going to blow on Skyrim because I didn't get it.
-A new desk chair, I'm sitting in it now, it's so comfortable!
-Modern Warfare 3
-A book called In the Garden of Beasts, which is about the American Ambassador to Germany during Hitler's rise and his family. This was from my uncle who always gets me some book related to history
-Lots of clothes, mostly jeans, which is great because I only had about 3 good pairs
-These awesome shoes I made on the Vans website were ordered for me, unfortunately they won't arrive for about 6 weeks
