Unequipped you see that you have a white eye, and you won't get the Charisma bonus though you still get the Perception penalty. Put it on, and you look good!

I could totally get behind that. B)

Glass eye.

Wooden leg.

Those handicapped traits should give the player the item they need to get the bonus, upon gaining the pip-boy. Fx. a pair of glasses for Four Eyed.

What kind of benefits and penalties would the glass eye and wooden leg give, though? :P I only see penalties. Unless the glass eye is like the one in Doomsday (a camera) and if the wooden leg is like the one in Planet Terror (an assault rifle with grenade launcher.)

How about a hook hand?

Hook hand - sure you get penalties to all the combative skills since you can't hold a weapon properly anymore, but in all dialogues you get special options to talk about your hand, make people feel sorry for you or just simply yell "Yarr!!!" Similar goes for the wooden leg.

hook hand makes it so you cant use any weapon in the game except your hook which you have to repair often -10 fallout new vegas :intergalactic:

You get special melee moves where you rip people's eyes out with the hook.

Perhaps the eye could be used to intimidate. Just give them the laaaaaazzzyyyyy eyyyeee....Fifel Goes West Reference....yeah, I just did that.

Anyway a trait doesn't have to have a positive effect, it just adds a new dimension to roleplaying. You can come up with your own story of what happened to your eye.

the hook you can change often you just have to go to a doctor.... lets say you want your hand back you just cut off a manic ans hand and go find a doctor....

one bad thing about the manic ans hand is that you cant keep it in attics or it will melt...... -10 attic.... but a good thing is it adds additional points to unarmed..

Well, how about unarmed attacks ignoring armor/getting an AP effect. Also, it'll come with an interesting story you can tell npc's, about how you lost your limb. You'll get to tell people something awe inspiring and manly, like a fist fight with a hundred rabid grizzle-bears, when in fact it involved a freak accident with a snowcone machine.

you can turn into a vegetable -10 intelligence

LOL i never knew their was a snow cone machine i always thought you crushed ice and then you poored juice on it

maybe while he was crushing ice....... he by accidentally froze his hand and banged it on his granite counter top and his hand came off and then he ran for his sons room and their were pirate stuff and he found a hook and super glued it on.....
and then on his way down the stairs he tripped and his legg snapped off and then he went to the garage and glued a 2 by 4 to his leg
and then maybe one time he was running with scissors and he poked his eye out so he went back to his sons bed room and picked up a eye patch and thats how he became a pirate

Scarred face - Your face has scars all over, including one over your eye which damaged it. But your scars are intimidating and/or convince people you are a tough, powerful, leader-type with experience. You get -1 Perception and +1 Charisma. Can be combined with the Eye Patch trait to give you that look you've always wanted for a total of -3 Perception and +3 Charisma. (sorry, but I didn't know what the penalizing side would be so the damaged eye was the best I could think of.)

I thought I saw the eye patch too but I think it was just a shadow because it disappeared a couple of frames later. We can still hope that there's an eyepatch out there somewhere though.

I won't wear one.. It sounds like an Apple product.

Oh, http://grant.henninger.name/iPatch/. You don't even have to configure it...it "just works." Just don't get it wet or it will explode. Also, it costs 100x as much as other eye patches of the same quality.

you know thats a good idea but it should give plus 5 speech because people may be scared of you and will just give in
plus 5 in unarmed because people are scared your stronger
-1 luck :sadvaultboy:
-2 perception :cryvaultboy:

They own the games but Bethesda owns the property. Hence why Harold, the BoS, the Enclave, and pretty much every part of the past Fallout games were in Fallout 3.

Negative.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_American_Tail:_Fievel_Goes_West

It's my favorite movie about a mouse who travels West and is separated from his mouse family which is Jewish....ever. All other movies about a mouse separated from his Jewish mouse family while traveling to the West pale in comparison, I assure you.

Oh, agreed. Those other ones pale in comparison. Very annoying and devoid of story. But, Fievel Goes West is just golden. :P

There were always eyeglasses in Fallout3, and we know they will be in NV because you need them for the Four-eyes trait.
