Just a general question, but are Synths affected by chem use? Essentially if hey do drugs can they feel the affects?


Also are Synths actually metal robots, or synthetic replicant like humans

They're basically synthetic humans. All their organs, tissues, and blood is all synthetic organic material. You can watch the Gen-3 creation process here if you want (sort of a spoiler, but not really. Its the process I tried to describe in my first Institute post):

From one I can tell, Gen 1s and 2s are fully robotic. Gen 3's have grown tissue bodies and a computer or cybernetic brain (not sure which).

Yeah, the Gen-1 and Gen-2 Synths are basically just humanoid robots. Gen-1's being more like robo-skeletons and Gen-2's looking like walking mannequins.

The Gen 2s freak me out. Gen 3s look about as normal as any NPC, Gen 1s look silly, Gen 2s occupy my nightmares.

If you're working on it somewhere else, like in Messenger as I tend to do, make sure you copy it from Edit and not from the actual saved message. It seems like copying it from a post only works sometimes but copying it from the Edit screen always works for me.

Edit: Anyone opposed to me creating an off-shoot of the Old Minutemen that is more of a crime punishing force like the Regulators? They could either fill the role of the minutemen or function as a seperate entity.

Well the guy who had the Minutemen was going to re-take it, but since the Minutemen has never appeared in IC as a Faction they may not be in the RP anymore. I'd wait on Andro for confirmation if you wanted to do anything with them, or want make a side Minutemen Faction who operates more like the Regulators.

@ Tundra: nice map! http://nerdist.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Fallout-4-Map.png. Is the Kingsport Lighthouse taken? I don't think anyone ever answered that. If not, that's a RR safe house, same with Kendall Hospital and Ticonderoga.
