Favorite Character from Honest Hearts?

I vote the survivalist too. One of the great things about the Fallout series is the way history is teased via odd notes and terminal entries and his is one of the most complete we see. It gives an insight into what surviving the war was like and it lets you piece together the full story for yourself. It's one of the things that makes HH so good.

Actually those weren't mormons as far as I can tell, they were Christians.

I voted for the Randall Clark only because the story was interesting. We probably should not call him the Survivalist, because he took his own life.

Garden-variety Christians don't commonly refer to non-members as Gentile. Guess who does?

No he didn't. He just died. Likely in his sleep.

Mr Chalk and White Legs are my nominees.

Why the white legs there was nothing good about them. They had terrible ideas, motives, and morals.

Anyways i wish Gram could still be your companion throughout the mojave...that would be awesome!! He would be like(before he kills someone)"its all gods bidding and gods bidding is going to get done today"

I liked their design, that's all, I most definitely don't agree with their philosophy/ideology but I like their design a lot.

He allowed himself to freeze to death (to say where would be a spoiler to the one or two of you who don't know by now) when he realized he was dying. That's sort of taking your own life, I guess, but he had a good motivation.

I dont know about you guys but Joshua Graham had to be the most interesting and best character in the whole DLC. He was very well done.

He has wisdom,Heart, and can dish out some punishment.

Overall he was awesome and his quotes were really good.

Now the question is which one is your favorite?

You can provide why if you want.

Joshua Graham is like Boba Fett. Way cooler before you got to know him.

It was threeway tie between Randal, Joshua, and Chalk.

Chalk wins because hes Canadian.:P

Dead Horses because I like their clubs that go smash and I like saying "Goot".

The Survivalist's Rifle? The man I saw was called the Father in the Caves by the Sorrows. I call it God's Rifle now.

Like I've said before, Joshua Graham was the most noble and likeable character I've ever met in the wasteland.

Someone hasn't heard of Randal Clark....

Ricky was pretty awesome, though, too. Anybody else felt he was meant to be a playful poke at the player/Courier? He had all the trappings of a Fallout main character, minus all the main character powers. "There but for the grace of God go we," and all that.

My favorite was definitely Randall, though. Probably the best story told through terminals in the entire Fallout franchise.

I definitely felt this vibe too. I'm not so sure what it was besides the Pip-Boy and suit. Maybe his arrogance.. :P

graham was well done? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! seriously, they wasted his potential, you either must be joking or have no concept of good character development (not an insult, most people just don't know much about story development. otherwise no one would like the story of GoW or halo, and I mean whats actually shown/told in game, not whats implied by the overall series and books or the basic idea). Chak was cool, I liked the info when coming across certain areas. I was irritated when they took him away. Most of the characters just weren't entertaining to me. Aside from him, I'd say the nameless (pretty sure at least) guy whos journal entries were found in caves.

I personally found him to be well done, and frankly the best part of Honest Hearts. He had more depth than any character in Fallout 2, Fallout 3 and most characters in Fallout 1 and New Vegas (aside from Dead Money which had the deepest characters in the entire series thus far). Was Graham the epitome of characterization? No, but he's definitely well done by Fallout standards.
