Hammerfell garb looks awesome (has a cape!) and the Nightingale Armour makes selling my soul to Nocturnal worth it (It too, has a cape!).

My favorite armor is Ebony set (with Boethiah's Ebony Mail) and the Blades Armour set.

Ebony Mail (Boethia's Calling) with Nightingale Boots and Gloves on a female character looks amazing. Swapping the Hood for a Silver and Moonstone Circlet, or the Guildmaster's hood (Thieves Guild) works too.

Scaled Armor in general looks good on both male and female characters. My only gripe is that the hide and ringed lower half of the armor looks too bulky on most females.

Thieves Guild armor and Guildmaster's armor both look good. Linwe's hood makes the suddenly-bald-to-avoid-clipping-issues character heads too apparent.

Ebony Armor is a winner in my book, it looks better on Males though, while the Ebony Mail from Boethia's calling looks much better on females.

Iron and Banded Iron look great on both Male and Female.

Elven Armor looks good on both Males and Females, but the color is a little obnoxious. I would kill for a neutral color like grey or even a cobalt blue such as the Nenalata crown in Oblivion.

Dark Brotherhood Armor looks best on Males. The shroud is the obvious exception, but other than that, the front of the Dark Brotherhood armor on Females doesn't look "Right".

Glass is always ugly. The male version is generally better. Had the Front portion of the Glass Armor matched the Back, I wouldn't complain, but the construction of the glass armor's chest section throws off the "Light" look. The boots and Helmet have too much pointless "Flair", such as odd protrusions of Glass that seem more like a liability than protection.

Daedric looks good, much improved from Oblivion. The helmet is my favorite Daedric (And full) Helmet in Elder Scrolls history (Trumping even the Daedric face of God). Daedric armor only has 2 visual drawbacks in my opinion. The oversized shoulder spikes (Should have been optional, like Steel Armor's pauldrons) and the somewhat obnoxious red glow.

Dragonbone is ugly, but it's ugly that makes sense. It looks like it's a hunk of bone fashioned into armor. Dragonscale armor looks okay on males, and absolutely hideous on females. The helmet is probably the ugliest headgear in the game. The chest section looks fine on the Male mesh, but the dragon-skin underlay forms sort of a "Skirt" between two scale plates protecting the upper leg, which should have been removed.

I should probably add that I don't think Light Armor has any good looking Helmet. Most of the hoods for matching sets (Nightingale, Thieves Guild) look fine, but those aren't really "Helmets" now, are they? Diadem of the savant compensates a little.

I believe that would be the skanky ho character class...

:hehe: Most of the women in Skyrim haven't got the legs to get away with a skirt that short anyway. I see some Nord barmaid dressed in tavern clothes stomping around on those tree trunks she calls legs and I'm horribly reminded of Cardiff on a Saturday night.

Helm of Yngol was my amazing find in Skyrim. 200+ hours in, and I had lost all hope of ever looking like Tom Hiddleston in Thor. Then I found Yngol barrow (I couldn't understand what the girl in Winterhold said, no Subtitles) with the Coral claw (Which was also just a cool dungeon) and I could finally get my Loki on.

All of the Jarl's clothes look really fancy. 'Specially Ulfric/Idgrod's (the female versions look the same) and Elisif's.

I know!!! I was doing that one thing for the fashion store in Solitude and they told me to wear the Fine Clothes to the Blue Palace, and I was just thinking, "This is fashion??? Are you kidding me??? I swear you are just trying to get poor Crystal humiliated."

This. When I did the quest, I couldn't believe Elisif wanted to buy that outfit. It is the most unflattering thing I've ever seen.

I don't think I'll ever understand what influenced Bethesda's artists to make such radical changes to headgear between the sixes. If anything, they should just make each six's unique head item available to both male and female as a different item, since they already exist in game.

I mean, I can understand having to make changes to accommodate female curvature (Part of the reason I love the Ebony Mail on Females so much), but the headgear should be unisix shouldn't it?

I love that deer head. Too bad females can't wear it, we just get some kind of a squished dead bird decoration.

I wish Bethesda (Specifically Emil since he handled Dark Brotherhood) would have done something with the obvious conflict of interest in The Dark Brotherhood and Imperial Legion. I mean, the question had to have come up, especially since a conflict happens twice.

Maybe Ms. Vici is insignificant enough to overlook, but not "The other person".

All of that can only be obtained by PC Commands...I also have a modded Solitude house complete with all the Testing Hall chest and All Black Smithing equipment nicely set up in my house on a reg xbox. :)

No, you′ re wrong. You can obtain up to 3 Executioners Hoods from the 3 prisoners during the first quest of the DB. Ulfrics clothes are obtainable after slaying him.

Obsidian TES FTW?

That's a hard call. Obsidian is better at writing and often favors richer, deeper mechanics. But Bethesda is vastly superior at world building (Especially World-art). New Vegas as a visual world, was horrible, even when compared to Cyrodiil, and Cyrodiil is Bethesda's worst out of the mainstream 4. (Vvardenfell, Cyrodiil, Capitol Wasteland, Skyrim).

If you play a female and haven’t tried on the Tavern Clothes you can not participate in this thread.
These have a rather unfortunate visual glitch which you see from behind while running in third person, which is what I am doing 60% of the time so I can't use them. They are nice however.

My favorite look for my girls is nvde except for boots and gloves. A naked lady is a lovely piece of art.
