Favorite Outfits for Appearance?

I like the Jester's outfit the most, then Nightingale, then Ancient Shrouded, everything else is "eh" to me.

Two, in fact; http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13961 armor + http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13486 cloaks.
Oh gods... Those are two of the best aesthetics mods I've seen in a while. Curse my Xbox... :cryvaultboy:

... only there quest writing svcks.

Now there's something we can agree on. Special exception to Emil Pagliarulo. The Dark Brotherhoods in Cyrodill/Skyrim as well as Fallout 3 in its entirety are vastly superior to any pieces of quest writing in previous Elder Scrolls games. Such quality came at a price of overall quantity though. So in that regard, Morrowind won out for balancing the two admirably.

For my Bosmer female:

Any one of the three fur armors with the Forsworn head dress. Usually it's the mid-coverage (not bikini top only), but when going north (Dawnstar, Winterhold) she'll put on the full fur armor.

Rolling around town - usually the mottled green dress and boots. The chef's outfit looks good too.

Although she only fights in light armor, she looks good in the Falmer heavy armor.

Ulfric's clothes are also very cool, though I rarely use them. Mainly because I almost never go past Whiterun in the CW, no matter what side I take.

For my Mage, Tavern clothes and forsworn armor i hate the mage robes there needs to be better options for female mage robes. For a Warrior Steel, ebony, glass ,daedric and for my Rogue Nightingale Armor.

You have the most adorable Argonian. For real. He looks like a scaly Santa Claus. <3 Great pictures, too. You got him and Uthgerd in the most amusing poses.
As for what my own characters wear on their days off... well, it's all console commands from here on in. My mage decks herself out in the Greybeards' threads, my huntress goes for Ulfric's fur-trimmed cloak and my warrior prefers a set of embroidered robes - the kind Torygg dons in Sovngarde.

My favorite outfit I've assembled thus far would be for my little Breton Assassin chick, with the Stormcloak Officer Uniform, Shrouded Hood, Shrouded Gloves, and Shrouded Boots. She looks like her legs are gonna freeze off at any second though. :P

I actually really like the look of the heavy imperial armor (helmless).

Mine would be the blue Fine Clothes combined with either Fine Boots(the high black ones) or Fur Gloves and Boots.
Hmm, is your character a classy monk? Well for me, Studded armor with Nightingale gauntlets and boots!

Nope, it is formal wear to use when in cities. When I am out questing and adventuring I use my Steel Plate Armor.

Wow, what a cool way to role-play! I'm sure you use your fur gloves and boots when you find it too cold in a city? This kind of makes me to want to make a new character.

I too have a formal outfit for cities/shopping. It was a bit of an undignified scramble for cover by the Dragonborn when a dragon attacked in Whiterun though.

Yep, fur is more comfortable in the cold cities like Windhelm, Dawnstar and Winterhold. It is a very basic, but it adds to the experience.

I do the same actually. Rashir is an assassin, but I find it almost impractical to walk around cities in flippin Nightingale Armor and Dark Brotherhood armor.

So he wears his assassin clothes when out in the wilds of Skyrim. And the cities he is disguised as a common person.

He wears the fine clothes I like the grayish silver with a necklace and some rings and some gloves and ragged boots. I thought the ragged boots gave him some character. I like the idea of someone who is disguised to fit with the common folk, but there is something off about their apperance that gives away a possible deadly secret. Like the ragged boots, anyone could go out and buy better boots even the non fine inexpensive boots.

But I like to think that he has worn them down training or something. Like even when he is a common person disguised he may run into trouble and kick butt.

This is http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m507/Dream_Sequencer/Photo0010.jpg, it's the Dragon Priest mask that increases lockpick, sneak, etc. With the Nightingale armor.

This is http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m507/Dream_Sequencer/Photo0011.jpg, it's the fine blue clothes [he actually got them for free, lol] with a necklace that gets him better prices.

The Wolf Armor is probably my favorite design out of the entire game. I love the Ancient Nord Armor as well, but by the time you can craft it it's obsolete..and has worse stats than the Wolf Armor anyway. Still visually appealing, though I wish Bethesda would give you the slight Nord Hero retexture + stat boost you get with the weaponry.

Ebony and Daedric are neat, but I hate how all the higher tier armors lose the Nord flavor. I wish the higher level armors had as many alternatives as the lower ones do.

Psyjiic monk robes for my sorcerer. Looks good in battle and in town, yet I wish it were a different colour than that banana yellow.

It would seem that the psjiics also hold the amazing arcane art of washing. I'll also use steel plate armour as the ingravings are amazing.
