My current favorite weapon is my characters daishō in the PnP RPG which has been running for six months. The main weapon has ability to create mirror images and while wielding the sword, it doubles the characters jumping distance. The off-hand weapon has ability to paralyze targets it hits and it reduces the wielders pain.

The http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Fork_of_Horripilation was the most amusing name for a unique weapon to me...nothing particularly odd about the fork itself, but very memorable.
I've had games where I kept it for a while to have long drawn out battles with mud crabs.

Umbra Claymore and the Daedric Longsword from TES III: Morrowind, if you can EVER get your hands on these weapons, they will surve you well till the end of the main quest line .

Sword of Aeons in Fable.

Marked beast helmet, and marked tribal armour. In FNV (Lonesome road). Great look and great for adding depth to ,y character.
Any version of the couriers duster, excluding the NCR version.
Ratslayer was a great gun in FNV, until you get a good (fully upgraded) sniper rifle or an AMR.

Oh and the railway rifle. I was dissapointed by how rare the ammo was though.

It is the gaudiest piece of crap ever, but I still liked it.


My favourite has to be the http://images.uesp.net/9/9c/MW_DaedricCrescent.jpg from Morrowind. The weird lengths you had to go to to reach it made it one of the more memorable escapades in the game. It also resembles a Klingon Bat'leth a bit.

I also loved the Xenomorph Skull http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/0/01/Helm_of_Oreyn_Bearclaw.jpg in Oblivion, and it's somewhat similar relative, the http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/b/bc/Bloodworm.jpg.
