[REQ] Female versions of armor

This is why I always used Robert's replacers in Oblivion. I was never very fond of seeing strippers wandering Tamerel and it's even more immersion breaking in the wastes imo.

I will happily jump on this bandwagon!

I'm female, and it always bothers me when (as happens far, far too often) the female form/animations/armour/etc. are nothing more than ports of the male mesh. Going the other way, I also don't want huge boobs, twiggie limbs, or skimpy, useless armour. I'm not a fan of the chainmail bikini, but damnit I wanna look like an actual female.

Whether this is comes with a realistic body mod, or just tinkering with vanilla armour to make it actually fit doesn't matter to me.

ya know, http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/7190/cmwa1zh2.jpg isnt the only option for females to wear armor. Theres no reason to leave 75% of the body, consisting of all the vitals exposed. If the armor is properly form fitting it actually looks quite nice, preserving the feminine features with out having to resort to a sliced up belly... Most people dont consider it so sixy anymore when theres a spear sticking out of their navel... Who knows, prolly got some wierdo's out there...

Historically, women in armor have had to use male versions, since female fitting armor was very rare, as it had to be specially made. With out a great influx of female fighters, it just wasnt in great demand. That being said, most female fighters were typically mistaken for males in combat, since helms generally covered their face, and the armor left little to no feminine features. Just a lil somethin for those realism freaks to think about.

Aside from that, i would however like to see some good looking female armor that, as mentioned, dont look make them look like pretty men with briasts.

Can't you just use the Type 3 fitted outfits made for Fallout 3? Sure it won't have the new stuff, but i'd imagine majority of the outfits have been recycled.

Just did this with leather from FO3 and it seemed to work well.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\Data\meshes\armor\leatherarmor\f

but outa luck for the new stuff

The core of the problem is that the game only uses one skeleton for both sixes. The fallout skeleton is a real pain to work with, particularly with the female shoulders. The mesh I'm using is a modified version of Backsteppo's narrowed shoulders for T3. I bulked up the upper arms slightly for better definition, but it's not perfect. It's just the one I prefer.
