I have the 11.6 drivers but I don't know how to find my rage directory. Seems steam hides their files well. Any help would be appreciated

Try looking for a 'Rage' directory here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

I linked my path in an earlier post, this is for Windows 7 C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rage.

I don't think vista is going to be radically different with the exception that there shouldn't be an x86 folder; it would just be the program files folder.

In Vista Ultimate it's C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\rage\base

I'm having some trouble with this. The link someone posted for the atioglxx.dll file that someone posted earlier is no longer working, and I can't seem to find it myself. I managed to get the drivers for 1.6, but when I look in the files I can't find atioglxx.dll anywhere. Help?

Uninstalling ATI drivers then installing the 11.6 driver fixed the slideshow issues for me. I still get graphical bugs such as texture popping and the light sources are showing through the world in some areas (ex. wellspring) though the game is playable.

"atioglxx.dll" from 11.6

Think u could up the .dll to mediafire.. or megaupload or any of those? is not heavy anyway xD thx in advance.

Anywya, no need to dl the 11.6, neither hes dll.. with the DLL from the last version of drivers is enough. Just look for them in:
c>windows>system32
COPY do not CUT, copy it and put it inside rage folder.
Worked really fine to me.
