Finding Daedric loot TO rare?

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 4:14 pm

I already found 1 light dragon scale armor ,1 deadric armor and 1 deadric mace, all of them in chests. The best chance you have to find them is too look on master chests,or in chests in hidden places.Try searching in chests that are hidden in high level dungeons too.

Nah it doesn't, it's useful but only minmax players are forced to. The weapons do well enough even if you don't enhance them, this is not a difficult game which requires you to have the best gear all the time.

Heck you don't even need to use armour as long as your block skill is nice and high. I tried taking all my armour off and just used a shield, didn't have any problems.

Try raising the difficulty to max and getting passed level 40 and get back to me.

Morrowind had daedric shrines you could happen across, and so did Oblivion for that matter. I have not seen that in Skyrim. So it stands to reason that daedric gear would be pretty rare.

Daedric Shrines are around and result in a Daedric Artifact, but are well hidden, but usually are found as part of a quest line. I've found three soo far.

I agree that it should be extremely rare, but it's pretty pointless when it's relatively easy to get (and improve o insane levels) with Smithing.

So, you're comfortable using CC to obtain an item, but not smithing?

Yeah, makes sense...

Do you think bethesda should have increased find rates for daedric (and dragonbone) items as an official patch?
No.
It would be stupid if they do.
Amazing loot stops being amazing as soon as you make it common.
Not that people like you would understand that.

You know that Bethesda games on max difficulty are just an invitation to people like me (anyone with half a brain) to create a build that will render the entire idea of having different difficulties a joke right? I've already destroyed master difficulty using sneak and illusion. And I'm more of a roleplayer than a minmaxer, so my build was just really to take a poke at the mechanics of the game rather than actually playing like that, nothing could be more dull to me than "beating" a Bethesda game. It's about as as difficult as winning a fistfight with a small child. I just play for the immersion.

Instead of doing dungeons over and over again you basically are able to make everything right away. Though I liked it, I didn't have to waste time enchanting hp absorb daggers to make coin. Before at high levels bandits would have glass and deadra sets.

It's fine. I've had three daedric drops (one of which was a Daedric Mace of Annihliating, worth 5,000 - or maybe it was Ebony) in 95 hours, and I don't feel unlucky. I can make them at will. Making them drop more would remove what little value they had.

Also, *too.

No, absolutely not.
It should be extremely rare, possibly even rarer than it is now.

You can always use the Atronach Forge.

But...

But...

anyone who spends 3 ingame days at a forge can craft daedric gear, and daedric hearts are sold at the local alchemy shop.

Most of the smiths ingame have been there for years in Skyrim, and have access to ebony...

The problem is two-fold:

You can craft daedric at level 15 with EASE.
You can't find daedric before level 48... UNLESS you happen to be using the SINGLE MOST POWERFUL MAGIC SKILL IN THE GAME (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111111111Eleven); Conjuration.
Conjurers can create daedric gear with relative ease. Not bound bow or sword or battleaxe -- but CREATE the items in a special quest location... as if we didn't have enough reason to pick conjuration before, summoning minions who outdamage your own destruction-spells.

It's unfortunate for you that the part of the title you put in capitals, is also the part you misspelled.
