Now... for those of you who haven't heard of Bungie, they created the franchises of Myth, ONI and most importantly... Halo.
Now recently, after Halo: Reach was released, they gave up the Halo series which 343 Industries took over,

but anyways.

On bungie.net, the FIRST concept art has been released of their new game and it looks pretty sweet!

Hope it gets a PC release. I love their work, they are a really dedicated developer. I just wish they would show the PC some love.

Well, the only reason Halo was Xbox only was because Microsoft bought the series.
But their early releases were PC only I think.

I'm looking forward to it. I enjoyed everything they did with the Halo series and what was leaked yesterday about Destiny sounds interesting.

Once again, says who? It has not officially been confirmed so anything is speculation at this point. Sure Bungie has said "it's social at its core". They also claimed the GDC talks about it being an MMO where a joke. So anything at this point is speculation.

Looks sick. I'm definitely looking forward to anything bungie makes.

Bungie has never disappointed, from Marathon and on. This is going to be good. Plus, http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-07-07-paul-mccartney-writing-music-with-bungie on the soundtrack for this! How cool is that?

Another sci-fi future FPS

Replace sci fi future with Modern military and you have my thoughts on... Most FPS today,

Seriously, there's not many sci fi shooters and the ones that are, they aren't the same thing with a different box...

While that's true, I wish more companies would branch out from what made them effective. Take Naughty Dog for example.

I don't understand why they gave up Halo because they were tired of it, just to make ANOTHER futuristic game. Maybe Microsoft was getting to stingy.

Anyways, I'm glad to see a new IP appear among the sea of sequels. Hopefully it will do really well, so Halo will get some competition and try to steer away from COD esque features and try to improve the tried and true formula instead of the new one.

I just hope it's not an MMO.

What's the inherent difference between an "MMO" and any other multi-player game outside of the way in which you find and connect with other players? I'm pretty sure the answer is "nothing," but correct me if I'm wrong.

Modern Indiana Jones and a post apocalyptic game? I love Naughty Dog but there wasn't a lot of originality in the basis of Uncharted and The Last of Us seems to be similar.
