I feel like, both in terms of sales and critical reception, Dishonored and Demon's Souls will have a lot in common. Both spend their pre-release and launches cruising under the radar until high reviews, word of mouth and a GOTY or two make them games that everyone feels compelled to try.
Both refuse to compromise their vision for the sake of what's popular in the medium today which, when done well, tends to be the mark of generation-defining games.
