for the men playing as a female character

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 4:18 am

i wonder what kind of male npc you will choose to be your character's husband. what sort of things you will look into when it comes to finding your ideal and perfect dream husband for her? :talk: .

what race and class is your character going to be?.

The way i see it is if your gonna be staring at an [censored] all day it may aswell be a womans :)
Gonna play a male first though , if i do play a female at any point i wont be marrying anyone haha :)
Breton + Mage for me also. :flamethrower:

Husband? I think you'll find most female characters who's users are men are lisbians.
Is this possible in the game  :whistling:

I think you are expecting too much. I always play male protagonists in RPGs such as Baldurs Gate or Fallout, simply because it matters. It doesn't in TES games. I can only hope, that Bethesda will include this Fallout feature along with others.

First character will be a female Khajiit, and I'm a dude IRL.

I'm basically going to wait until I find a NPC that I feel Gi'Anna would care for and want to marry, so gender will probably be irrelevant.

My second character, a male Argonian thief, will be a complete loner. No nuptials for him.

A possible third character will be a male Nord, and if he weds, it will be with a female.

my shadow assassin is as promiscuous as valeria messalina, the only chance of getting a hubby would be if the chutiya in question were a total rich svck-up to provide some sort of stability and dry his $ for her operations / revenge.

BUT... in my last Oblivion play (before it all crashed...) I had come up with an honourable Paladin-like occasional companion, her exact opposite in terms of character, tactics and experience. I think he was an Imperial, as it made perfect sense then, and added to the tension between someone who had her village destroyed during the Empire's expansion and someone who firmly believed the Empire was the expression of Good, Order and Light.

I've always found the whole "Roleplaying as a female" thing a bit weird if you're male.
It seems to be akin to having a living doll that carries out your every command.
Sort of... Serial killer-ish.

EDIT: Although, who am I to judge? I plan to play as an anthropomorphic kitty cat.

Could be worse... could be playing a female anthropomorphic kitty cat...

...that may have been self depricating...

Top reason men play women in video games .

When choosing what were going to spend the duration of the game looking at from a rear view , most of us will choose something more esthetically pleasing to the heterosixual male eye.

ie : I'd rather spend 18 hours of playing with a woman's posterior on screen than a mans.

18? - rather conservative estimate I'm expecting more like 200-300 hours ;p

Well, maybe some people play as women because they want a change? For once, a woman is takng up the sword to save the world.

A breath of originality never hurts. =)

If i make a Female she will be a Succubus like character. She draws in men, and when their weak, or asleep, she cuts there throat and soul traps them.

I've never felt comfortable playing as a female character. Couldn't get into it.

As male I am gonna find a woman that knows his stuff, and it is tough.
If in my second playtrought I might think about doing a gay mage male version just for the hell of it to abuse all the men like little girls.
And in the third as a beautiful woman, that wants a nice cat that purrsss at me all the time when I stroke him :D :P

I do not care about sixuality, it is just fun to mess up with the possibilities :D

Like make a female lizard (that I do not like) and try to make eggs with some man human, ahahhaah that would be so fun!

I'd probably pick a compelling male character that I see a lot of myself reflected in. That's probably why my FemShep gets down with Garrus.

I'm not sure if Skyrim will have deep enough NPC's you can romance in order to make it worthwhile though. So if that fails, I'll probably just go with the hottest bisixual/homosixual woman in Skyrim. That's assuming the game is interesting enough as a Female. New Vegas did a good job with that.

ie : I'd rather spend 18 hours of playing with a woman's posterior on screen than a mans.

That's such a cliche' answer, but you know it's quite telling that the only way for you to avoid looking at a man's rump, is if the temptation is removed completely. Plus, isn't TES mostly a First-Person game?

I'm a female anyway, but just to put my two cents in...

I'll probably be marrying a drunkard Khajiit if possible, who will hopefully be good at unarmed combat.

That or M'aiq the Liar, if he's in the game and romanceable. I reeeeeally want to marry M'aiq.

On my next character I'll probably make a male and try to get him to romance Alvor or some pretty wench...or both.

My character will probably be a female dunmer battlemage. I've not yet given her a "personality", so I'm not sure what she'll fancy, but I know she's not going to be a lisbian. It's a roleplaying game, so I like to create a mindset for my characters, and then choose depending on that.

Straight male here btw.

@Phil5000: In the Netherlands we have a saying that sais, freely translated: 'An innkeeper trusts his guests alike he trusts himself' :hubbahubba:

For my female character, which has had a long history in several RPG's, if things will be alike previous games, she will marry a quiet hardworking nice guy, and not the local don juan. That is, if she will marry at all, since I'll be heavily roleplaying her she would need to stay around the same town / city for quiet a long time to build up a relationship. But who knows.

Oh, and my female character will be a Nord, and most her traits will be roleplayed along the way as I play. Read more about her on my blog (see sig)

I wouldn't make a female character in the first place, seeing as I feel an immediate "Role-play" disconnect from my hero. As the nature of the question can be thought
as hypothetical, then HYPOTHETICALLY...

I would create an imperial female, by the name of "The Black Widow", and lure suitors across Skyrim only for the purpose of congregating their delicious and wholesome noble blood to feed on. Of coarse the "luring" will be done by my heroine's remarkable beauty...on the outside...and the feeding..will be done all at once like some blood orgy, thus it is now I must ask:

Any takers?

I must flee to my tavern now, farewell.

I like playing female character but not for Role Playing. I just enjoy it like movies or playing Tomb Raider.
Doesn't work for MMO or games with marriage/relationship feature though (i.e DAO, Fable, etc) always find it icky.
For such games I tend to roleplay, as male. In Skyrim too.
