For those of you who dislike Skyrim and have been on the for

A lot of the 'complainers' have legit complaints.

its the people that respond 'idiot troll dont like then dont play' that really need to go. That kind of attitude really holds back mature discussion in all walks of life.

A majority of the complaints are not sensible or proposed sensibly. Have you looked at these forums?

People who enjoy the game are playing it. People who don't enjoy it complain. The way of the world. Sadly.

This is true.

You have absolutely no clue what irony is, do you?

Yes, I know what irony is. It's saturday night and I'm at home spending time with my wife watching TV together and reading and responding to other users' posts. I spent the morning watching my daughter and taking her to the mall to do some Christmas shopping. I think I have my priorities in order. I never claimed there was anything wrong with being on the boards so much. I merely asked the extremely negative posters with no solutions to offer up, to find something meaningful in their life to hold near and dear. This type of complaint doesn't give Bethesda any idea what to change or how to make the game better.

I disagree, and this kind of thing really annoys me. I loved Skyrim to death, and I'll certainly argue with the people who didn't, but I respect their opinions. Gamers aren't obliged in any way to like the game just because the devs put a lot of time into it. Bad games have lots of work put into them as well. They paid 60 dollars, and, if they didn't like it, then that's 60 dollars they could have spent on a different game.

I'm not a professional writer, but I write, and I can tell you this for certain: if you can't take criticism, then you shouldn't make things for other people to enjoy. There's nothing (nothing, not even Reese's Cups) that everybody likes.

I wouldn't use the term bashing to describe what I wrote. I was just telling some of the posters out there is there are more important things to do than just say this game svcks. Wah!!!

Let's please have a civilized discussion of what could use fixing in this game. Some posters cannot do that. They just blindly say it svcks. The end. That is narrow-minded thinking.

Usually in economics, when you don't buy something, developers try to make it better. You can't please everyone so your point about the people who complain get things changed is total BS. Bethesda can only change so many things until someone else is upset. I think they made the game that they wanted to and most of us are very thankful and happy about that.

You're bashing them just as much as they are bashing the game. "He who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones". I agree with you that those who offer nothing even remotely resembling constructive critiscm are simply not worth the effort it would take to respond to them, which also means that I think threads bashing said bashers serve no purpose.

Yes, money talks. No, that's not all companies care about. When no one buys a game, or only very few, there is also the chance of any future projects being cancelled or the studio being disbanded/assimilated. No you can't please everyone, however the majority of the complaints on the forum, that I've seen so far, have to do with bugs/glitches etc. Which have nothing to do with personal preference. Personally I don't really care what kind of mechanics/features Bethesda creates since I know that modders who think like I do will make mods I will find a must have, as such I do not personally complain about such things. Yes they made the game they wanted to, hopefully, and no chances are that they won't make any major changes or implement anything new outside of it being in DLC, however that has nothing to do with what I wrote and you're simply jumping to conclusions on what I was referring to.

I do not get why so many of the gamers that dislike the game so much have been on the forum so much.

Here's some advice. Step 1:Go outside. Step 2: Take a walk. Step 3: Contemplate a problem that you can potentially solve that actually matters.

If you have a life, go back to it. Look at all the messed up stuff going on in the country right now. It is amazing how much wasted effort is going towards conducting a crusade against this game. Do something productive and make the world a better place. Don't add to the constant negativity that is so present in the world.

Imagine what could all be done in the amount of time you've spent bashing people on the message boards.
Complaining about complaints really doesn't do much.
