I do not get why so many of the gamers that dislike the game so much have been on the forum so much.

Here's some advice. Step 1:Go outside. Step 2: Take a walk. Step 3: Contemplate a problem that you can potentially solve that actually matters.

If you have a life, go back to it. Look at all the messed up stuff going on in the country right now. It is amazing how much wasted effort is going towards conducting a crusade against this game. Do something productive and make the world a better place. Don't add to the constant negativity that is so present in the world.

Imagine what could all be done in the amount of time you've spent bashing people on the message boards.

I can't agree more. People come to the forums to discuss gameplay and such civilly. Not listen to constant belittling by people who hate the game.

People who enjoy the game are playing it. People who don't enjoy it complain. The way of the world. Sadly.

I'm used to it. Every single game that comes out, within the first few weeks it's like this. These people will be gone soon enough.

Haters gonna hate.

Besides im getting the idea that is a smaller group of people who just create more accounts to make it seem more people are upset of minor issues, they all share the "i'm absolutley right" mentatlity.

I think you'll find most people who complain do actually like the game... they just don't rave about it or claim that it's perfect like a giddy bunch of hammer legion members. Instead, they come here to discuss the good and the bad things about the game in a constructive manner. It only seems like there's more talk about the bad things because complaint threads generate discussion a lot easier than praise threads.

Also, complaining about complainers is a no-no. :nono:

LOL I think the reason why people complain is they "want" to like the game and hope the issues they bring up get enough attention to get the developers to look and do something about it. They want the feeling they had when they bought the game. I for one in other threads have said I love this game but am I as excited after seeing all my PS3 bugs. No. But unlike most I still see the fun in the game.

A lot of the 'complainers' have legit complaints.

its the people that respond 'idiot troll dont like then dont play' that really need to go. That kind of attitude really holds back mature discussion in all walks of life.

So basicly when someone has something negative to write about Skyrim they are trolls/idiots/morons etc.?
The only way for something to improve is for others to point out what needs improving.
Now those that just bash the game because they just like bashing the game are obviously unconstructive and not worth spending any time on.

Also [OP] you do know the irony contained in your last sentence, yes?

Consumers have every right to complain about products they buy. Being critical also isn't the same as bashing people or being negative.
I'm playing the game and visiting the forums off and on. I enjoy the game, but it has problems, and talking about those problems is generally what leads to them getting fixed. It's also just nice to discuss the game with others, humans are social creatures, and you can't expect everyone to do nothing but praise the game. No, I'm not under the delusion that the devs are reading all my posts and taking notes, but just having feedback from the community at large has lead to some positive changes in the TES series.

Speaking of negativity and bashing, that's kind of what telling a generalized group of people to get off the forums and go outside to do something useful is.

Criticism is what makes these games better. Developers listen to complaints.... If no one complained about the GODAWFUL UGLY Oblivion faces, we'd never have the better ones we have today in Skyrim.

The Elder Scrolls will never get better without criticism from an active community. This is a simple fact.

Nothing wrong with two very different opinions. I respect a gamer that can come on here and constructively critique the game. Not just be a walking bumper sticker for how this potential GOTY is somehow one of the worst games ever made. I like how some displeased with the game are able to complain in a well-thought out manner. A little witty banter back and fourth about a game that is great, but not perfect... or flawed, but not the worst ever.

I like how people say that people with legit complaints are OK and people who bash the game are not as if everyone is right in their own opinion of who is who.
There is a grey area between who actually has a real complaint and who just plain svcks at life. It's the first week after release. Most of the scrubs will be gone soon.

I just laugh at all the people who hate the game....hahah Bethesda still got your money....trolololol.

I didn't like crysis 2, but I didn't spend all my time whining about it. I just chalked it up as a bad buy.

Because I'm bashing people, hardly. For those of you who hate the game but have already paid money for it... you have already let your money do your talking. There's no taking that back.

Looking at the elf race faces in Skyrim, and I cant say they are pretty....But they look like what they should and well thats good.

Most complaints here are needed, but there is also small amount of people who thinks that the game is utterly [censored] because of one minor thing what most of the time isn't even true, and people like that also gets the most attention in these forums and thats why you see posts like that so often. You have to wait few weeks to get some real constructive feedback posts.

Doing real things to help in the real world is HARD. You normally have to leave your chair and interact with real people out there, its so scary and draining. Sometimes it actually takes my own money too. Hanging around on the boards with my own personal crusade is alot simpler. I don't have to get up and exert myself, heck, I don't even have to shower!

Yes, yes you are. Claiming that someone you disagree with has no life or needs to get his/her priorities straight and start solving world problems is what I would call "bashing". And the whole "they have your money" argument is a very tired, oversued and false argument for either side to use. Bethesda cares and the only way they can know what needs fixing is to have players actually tell them what needs fixing. Also you're incorrect, under certain circumstances you will be able to get a refund.

I wouldn't use the term bashing to describe what I wrote. I was just telling some of the posters out there is there are more important things to do than just say this game svcks. Wah!!!

Let's please have a civilized discussion of what could use fixing in this game. Some posters cannot do that. They just blindly say it svcks. The end. That is narrow-minded thinking.

Usually in economics, when you don't buy something, developers try to make it better. You can't please everyone so your point about the people who complain get things changed is total BS. Bethesda can only change so many things until someone else is upset. I think they made the game that they wanted to and most of us are very thankful and happy about that.
