For PC users: What rig do you got?

Post » Tue Jun 15, 2010 7:17 am

processor: intel core i7 970 (6core at 4.0)
motherboard: asus rampage 3 extreme
Ram: Corsair Memory Dominator GT 12GB DDR3 1866 Mhz
Gfx: (Two) nvidia geforce GTX 580's
sound: Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium PCI
Psu: Akasa Power Xtreme 1200W PSU

Razer Lycosa Gaming keyboard
and a Cooler Master Sentinel Advance mouse

also running nvidia surround, on 3 samsung 226bw 22" monitors, it runs at 30-40fps on v high but i have begun to paly using one screen, 30 fps just dont feel smooth enough in this so the tripple screen is jsut to show off to my friends mostly.

@omar052@verizon.net

I have similar specs to you and my frames never drop under 50, no matter whats happening on screen. Most of the time they are solid 60 fps (I use v-sync)

1440x900 Screen Resolution
AMD Phenom II X3 720 @ 3.4ghz
Sapphire Radeon 5870 1GB
4GB DDR2 Ram
Windows Vista x64
Catalyst 11.2

I just ran a fraps test and I got min 54, max 62, avg 58.378. I use the app Wasdie made and every possible setting is maxed. My Fov is set at 75.

I dont understand why your frames are dropping so bad (unless the resolution you use is the reason). Do you have latest the catalyst drivers?

Asus P8P67-LE
Gainward GeForce GTX570 Golden Sample "Goes Like Hell" @ 850/1700/2100 v1.025

Im able to play on hardcoe @ 1080p with a fps hovering from 55-60 Vsynched with TripleBuffering (d3Dovverider) in Single Player.
Multiplayer keeps steady 60fps. Without vsync the max framerate i reported was 80fps.

Runs like a dream on the extreme settings - i played the demo for Crysis 1 and thought it was like ...meh but Crysis 2 BLEW ME AWAY!

One of the best single player experiences I've encountered in a long time.

My system:
X6 1055T
4GB 1600Mhz
HD 6950(unlocked of course)

In reality it doesnt really matter that I just spent about $1000 for a new system for Crysis 2 because my old dual core with it's gtx280 oc(bfg ftw) could have ran it.

WHERE IS THE DX 11

WHERE ARE THE STUNNING VISUALS OF THE ORIGINALS?
CONSOLE PORT FAIL

Even the story is weak.
I CAN HAZ RETURN?

srsly I want my $60 bucks back
