I haven't had a chance to test the game yet, bought and downloaded but I'm not sure how to redeem my preorder content code yet. Once I get that taken care of I'll see what framerates I get and let you know. I'm not sure if I will get 50 fps on max settings with my monitor though 1440x900 Max Resolution. I haven't got the money to buy a second graphics card yet to dual SLI it yet. I will have to upgrade my power supply sadly to handle a second though.

Antec 902 Gaming case
intel Core i5 2400 3.10 Ghz Quad Core (2nd Gen)
Asus P8P67 Pro Motherboard
EVGA Geforce GTX 460 Superclocked 1Gb GDDR5
8 Gigabytes of Corsair XMS3 Ram 1333 Mhz (4x 2GB Sticks)
Thermaltake TR2 600w Powersupply (can't afford an upgrade yet)
500 GB Hitachi Deskstar 7200 RPM HD with 16 MB cache (Someday hope to get a nice 80 GB intel SSD)

So far my EVGA GFX card seems to overclock stable to 859 Mhz core clock without any issue that I've seen in my tests on Metro 2033. I can't wait to see the performance of the game in SLI.

F***.
Ever since I played out Crysis and Crysis warhead in 2009, I was waiting for Crysis 2.
And now I freaking find out my video card is too bad for it. ( NVDIA 8600 Gs )
I really need some suggestions, I don't have enough money for a new Rig, Nor do I have enough for a new video card WTH PSU.
I've really been looking forward to this game, And I live for it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Myan schecond-rate tech:

Intel Q9650 3.00Ghz (complete with ill-seated CoolerMaster V8 :S)
Asus Maximus II Formula
Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066Mhz
HIS Radeon HD5870 1Gb
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

CPU used to sit nicely @4.02Ghz until i threaded a retention bolt on the V8, hence the stock clock.
Still runs Crysis 41+fps with everything max (Including 24x forced AA =D)

Wow... So many fellow AMD users! My rig is:
Crosshair IV formula
Phenom 2 955 (from last years am2 rig)
60gig SSD
1.5 TB sata drive as an extension to the SSD.
8 gig of 1600 ram corsair 3
2 msi 6970 afterburners running is crossfirex
(which I take it off on Crysis 2 because the lighting is flickering real bad with it enabled...grrrr)
Windows 7 64 pro

Reformatted everything yesterday because the game wasn't working. Turned out to be avg 2011 free blocking the game with no warning. Darn u avg free! So that was uninstalled. Probably never to be used again.

To noduck
Just buy a new gpu. You can find like a 5850 for like $150 now. Or get one a generation before that for cheaper. What u have is like 5 or 6 generations old. There are cards out there that You don't need to get a new psu to use them.
