Full refund for PS3 users unhappy with ES:V

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 2:36 pm

I think i'd prefer for a game to work as intended straight out of the box. No monitoring, waiting, criticism, or even "ranting" (???) should be needed.

Bethesda are too bloody proud, as are many on this forum it seems.

For those of you having no problems with Skyrim, im glad to see that the game is being enjoyed as it should be by at least some of you.

Either that or your not as anol as me and don't notice the poor performance (my girlfriend barely does) :)

We as PS3 gamers deserve nothing less that a personal appology. Everyone who had high hopes and were hoodwinked by Todd and his minions deserve an explanation and an apology IMMEDIATELY. This is ridiculous.
Cry me a river. The PC version is much worse. Which is [censored] because all games are made on a PC. Just shows how much Bethesda cares about the 360 and makes everything else an extra. I should have known from watching all of the promotional content being shown on the 360. Bethesda must have received a crap load of money from Microsoft. This [censored] should be illegal.

Bethesda simply has to issue a re-pressing of the disc at some point as there are so many console users who never connect their systems to the internet. I'm guessing that that won't happen until the inevitable GOTY edition though.

PC version isn't worse. It runs better and looks better provided you've got the tech.

This crap should be illegal alright. It's just unfair to us as paying customers.

I for one am seriously unhappy! i have put alot of money into bathesda products or off products (Rage). I have decided to give them one month to get there ducks in order before they lose a loyal customer who has purchased and played Morrowind + exp, Oblivion + Exp, (PS3 and XBOX), Fallout, Fallout : NV + all exp, and now skyrim.... looking at the list of games i have spent hard earned and imo well spent money on to get raked the way i have and the entire PS3 community has is an outrage. I love the games, love the freedom and i understand the challenge it must be to put it all together, but rather than letting the community sink there money into it, i'd rather read flames on forums about it being delayed rather than the nasty hate and threats that are happening now. I lost most of my respect for a company who obviously did not put serious time into testing and control rather just to make the GD 11,11,11 date....

$#!@ you Bathesda. you make a masterpiece only to squat and take a crap on it?

1 Month is all i give for atleast a appolagy and repairs to be started. no threats of lawsuits or w/e, just the loss of a loyal fan and a garunteed sale on up comming games.

I've sent an email to bethesda about returning the game through them a few days ago. No response. No surprise there.

No surprise indeed. There would be so much more of a backlash if it had been the 360 build of the game that was THIS BUSTED.

Do a Google search buddy.

Burden of proof is on you not us. You provide the links, until then you're absolutely full of it.

Thats it yeah, absolutely full of opinion. As I said, first forum post, didn't realise there was a massively anol policy in place concerning Harvard referencing.

That isnt what this thread is about, im trying to highlight the mess that Bethesda have made by releasing the PS3 version of this fantastic game in such a sorry state.

I'm sure there are a couple of threads on this forum about this breaking a PS3, although sod's law I can't find them now. But they're isolated incidents, not like the frame-rate which seems to be affecting a lot of people who have made decent progression. I wouldn't go as far as to say there's a concrete link between Skyrim and broken PS3s just yet, although I am more than a little hesitant about playing it until the patch comes out in a week or two.

Ya know what is the worst part, i started a new char cause my old file was too laggy, well turns out some of the lag tends to carry over. I was lagging in the tutorial when you run from the dragon, like major FPS drop. Think that might be the main thing that pisses me off. how long before the game is unplayable period...

Fix or no fix, thay lost alot of respect from me. and alot of people i know.

Well I don't know about you guy's and gals but I already lost 60 dollars on this crap,.so yesterday afternoon I took a little trip up to mtc and sold them my copy of skyrim and when they asked me why I was selling it so early, I told them everything that was wrong with it.so yes i took a huge loss but I'm not gonna sit around another week for a patch that might not fix these issues.after all Beth did say that the save game bug wasn't wide spread enough (YEAH RIGHT!!!)this is a way to prevent fixing somthing on ps3 that they simply won't because every patch cost's money to get put out, and also since beth never fixed those bugs in Fallout3 or oblivion on ps3. :toughninja:
