I think something expounding on what is already present in Skyrim. They fleshed out some lore with DG and I would like to see a fresh spin on content already there (in Skyim in general, not DG itself).

I know folks want more were-creature stuff (ie-werebear), but I'm not so sure I'd be all that interested in that. As an added bonus that would be cool I suppose, but I certainly wouldn't want it to be the focus.

I think whole new lands will be saved for next ES games. Historically (since Morrowind anyways) each game presents another land of Tamriel so I doubt DLC/expansions will bring another complete landmass into the mix. I would be willing to bet TES VI would host either High Rock or Hammerfell.

I'd love to see TES VI: Hammerfell. Bring on the sand!!

That's what I mean, but set up the DLC to connect to the next game, and since the next game would be next gen why not have both hammer fell and highrock, there's plenty they could do with both of them and might have already set up something for hammerfell, but that's still a rumor as far as i know.

You have a good point bud. Next gen consoles may be powerful enough to host two or more landmasses. That would (high) rock!

its not about console power, its about man power, i'd prefer one LARGE province instead of two, make Hammerfall twice the size of Skyrim, that would be great

Just have them connect and act like one giant province but in reality its two,Im fine with having hammerfell twice the size of skyrim its just the lore of the different areas and the possible story they could have if they had both. And not many people want a high rock game,so having them both solves that probolem.

Some areas might be better paired with another. For instance, Hammerfell is almost only desert. The varied environments from adding a second province might be better than just having a bigger desert.

OT: I've mentioned this before, but I think Roscrea would be the best location for a new landmass DLC. It's part of Skyrim, it's an island, it could be tropical (it's between Tamriel and Akavir, so I assume it'd be tropical), and would be a nice departure from the cold of Skyrim. It just seems perfect for a Skyrim DLC.

It's not the power of the console that dictates that, consoles get limited by the content they can handle at any one point in time, ie how much content that be loaded into each cell. You can have more content and higher resolution for the PC in each cell because it has greater memory capacity, the size of the world is dictated by how much you can stuff on a disc.

how about something to do with the grey fox.... i mean we know he died from oblivion if you read ciceros journal... but theres still a bust in riften... and he was never mentioned during the theives guild at all... now thatd be sweet if there was a dlc where someone found his helmet and passed it town for hundreds of years... and now hes arrived in skyrim... vready to put the thieves guild out of business

I rather they shed some more light on talos and tiber septim with an talos inspired dlc
where you can find out the truth about talos and tiber septim or maybe you can restore the nine divines. they could call it: restoration of the nine or the truth of talos

I definitely think they should wait till TES VI for an entire province, instead just having a smaller new lands in a similar manner to Solsteim. I'd be surprised if they didn't release anything like Bloodmoon or SI, but I think they should consider exploring more of the daedric realms aside from the Shivering Isles. The possibilities are endless in Oblivion (the place)...

Bugs in a Jar. I've seen (and been in) the conspiracy thread on Reddit...with the things they have set up it wouldn't be hard to piece things together.

If i remember correctly (shouldn’t be too hard, was only a week ago) while playing the game Daggerfall the costal regions of Hammerfell was all jungle, while the desert was rocky and mountainous, so you are a bit of on your description.

I do remember there being jungles mentioned being on Stros M'Kai. And there are mountains in the eastern part of Hammerfell. I guess I exaggerated a bit for Hammerfell. Black Marsh would be a better example, as, from what I know, it's just marshes and jungle. It would probably be better paired with somewhere else.

There's no reason Bethesda can't give us new landmasses in Skyrim...and TES VI won't be out for 5 years at least, with all the DLC planned and Fallout 4. With the tensions between the Thalmor and mankind, there is no better game to include other landmasses.

I'd like to see another daedric realm too, but right now, I'd prefer expansion on the civil war plot(after they finish the house building DLC of course).

I would like a war against the Thalmor. Maybe either you fight for the Thalmor, or if you finished either the Stormcloaks or the Imperial civil war quest lines, fight against them. As of right now, they are just a sort of constant reminder in the game. The Moot should be a part as well, with the Dragonborn being present (just like with the Season Unending).

Build your own house. Maybe put them in the other holds. Choose the architecture (from the homes already in game, and new ones like ancient Nord and Dwemer), choose the play style (mage, thief, warrior), and you can "hire" your followers to become bodyguards to your house (instead of being given a housecarl for just being the thane). Mage style houses would have more soul gems (filled, of course), a special garden that housed plants that make potions, more bookshelves, a staff forge, and more of a mystical decorum. Thieves would have a garden filled with poisonous plants, be darker looking, more containers, a torture room, and a security system. Warriors would have more mannequins, shield plagues, weapon plagues, display cases, and one more hireable guard.

Add in Goldbrand, the golden katana. It has appeared in Morrowind and Oblivion, and deserves a resurfacing. Maybe it can be part of a quest line that can prevent you from killing Paarthunax and proof of overcoming his evil nature.

A visit to Hircine's Hunting Grounds. Kodlak's Harrowing could be a driving force on it as well. Make it a reletively difficult place to fight in, as everything is in a need to survive there.

More people to marry. I know some would call out for Serana, but the Khajiit and Wood Elves could do for some love as well. Maybe dip into the follower pool and open some marriage option for them, or more quest givers. Pop a few of the Jarls as well, but keep them living in their default house instead of being able to move. Instead of a shop, they give you some of the offerings or a slice of the taxes.

More hair options, eye options, scar options, and war paint options to the races.

I know it may not be popular, but a continuation of the mage's guild quest seems like the most probable. Although I could be wrong and am interested in hearing why or why not this could be the case. Personally the magic in skyrim almost got the "feel" and power of magic right, even if some schools were rather neglected, and i'd love to see an expansion on the system in a dlc, or maybe even a patch, who knows?

Well I am not surprised if the new DLC is called Heartfire. They did copyright the name a few months back after all.

yea, its pretty much just confirming what we expected. Though, it being up on xbox live already is curious. I don't really know how XL market place works though.
