Haha, nah, I just spawned her in to take the screenies

Used removeitem in console to take off her hood. The shrouded robe replacer is included in http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=724. Should be easy enough to get her as a follower, though, or even marriage if she has the default voice - just look it up on nexus. They're bat files.

The problem with the elves is what Myrmaad, a moderator at Nexus, dubbed the "Klingon Brow".

PC gamers have the power to replace the textures in question with ones that lack the klingon brows, thankfully.

Once you remove the klingon brow (and the horrid eye bags on the dark elves), the elves can look pretty good.

I used to love Brelyna Maryon.. until she took her hood off. Quite a lot of the Altmer actually look really good, and they have decent hairstyles too. Female Bosmer can look amazing in character creation, but I've yet to actually find one in-game.

One person's problem is another person's fancy. It's precisely the non-human features that I like about the Tamriel elves. I wouldn't use any of those mods if I played it on PC. Not even the eyebag remover. I have dark eyebags that rival any Dunmer's. Might be why I'm partial to them. And I like their red eyes. For me, their non-humanness is the whole point. Just my opinion, that's all.

Greed's right about the female Bosmer. I'm really pleased with mine. She turned out exactly as I'd pictured her in my head.
