If you actually look at it, Skyrim is like Game Of Thrones. I'm currently roleplaying as a nord female with white/blonde hair as Daenerys and here's how it goes... Solitude = King's Landing, Empire as Targaryens (Simply because Targaryens were rich folk with Valyrian steel plus, they have Dragons on their banners = PERFECT). Windhelm as Winterfell, Stormcloaks as Rebels. Winterhold is somewhere near the wall and the landscape between Dawnstar and Winterhold is somewhere beyond the wall. Now for the races... Redguard represent the Dothraki, Nords are citizens of the Seven Kingdoms, Elves are noblemen beyond the Narrow Sea, the Draugr are Whitewalkers who are coming back to life after so many years (They even look alike with blue eyes and rotten skin) and Dragons are returning also after so many years - all fitting as Game Of Thrones. About Daenerys fitting into the story I created
Spoiler You are Blood of the Dragon (Dragonborn) as Daenerys and you get to command Drogon (Odahving - I took the liberty of calling him Drogon)
. I'm playing in a imaginary event where Daenerys would actually return after all that time and fight for the throne, so along with my fellow Targaryens (Empire) which I command - I'm totally enjoying Skyrim on a whole new level. I'm actually hoping that Dany will win the throne back, but who knows how George thinks

. I'm using Steel armor with Shoulder pads and Banded Iron armor as imaginary Dothraki rags (As you see Dany in Season 2 while she's in the Red Desert) and I'm using
FROST (Horse) as her "
Silver" ( the name of her horse in the books). As you can imagine, I'm having quite a roleplaying time of my life while playing Skyrim

On the side note, the books are epic. I bought the entire collection and I'm enjoying them like nothing before. Though I recommend that you read them as you finish a season. That way you won't know what happens next and you won't be saying "Hey, it didn't happen that way". The books and series have some slight differences, but in my opinion - the show has integrated the story perfectly and I like the show equally as the books. Maybe a bit more than the books... but that's my honest opinion. I like surprises in the show and then reading the full details in the books.
