Speechcraft is nice, but what I'm really happy to hear, is disguises!

I really wish we could get articles instead of interviews. I need something to read.

Every interview seems to confirm my initial optimism. I'm definitely getting more and more stoked for this game. I hope they have an awesome showing at E3.

I love their approach to questing rewarding players for exploration, rather than having a social hub where players pick up quests. This not only makes the quests more dynamic and memorable, but also more believable as well. I look forward to hearing more about the game, and hopefully seeing some actual gameplay.

I am actually looking forward to the game now. A little bit x) I am curious about it.
Also we dont have a soul? and another thing i want to say.
When he talked about the werewolf etc,and that the whole town will celebrate and greet you as a hero etc,and that the city/village will change,I guess thats just changes for yourself and not for others,so if you play with friends,The village is different for you and not for them? If you the hero that completed look at the village, its different,Then your friend that hasnt done that quest look at the village its not different. Also sorry if i am bad at english or something.

I liked most of what I heard. Quests actually sound more interesting than the ones in Skyrim and seem like they will have more impact.

Wtf is an undead werewolf? As far as I know that cannot happen? Maybe a conflict between Molag Bal and lichdom results in such a thing? Molag Bal claiming the soul and such? How would the thing transform if it's undead of its just basically a zombie werewolf all the time?

I'm not really a big fan of the Molag Bal has my soul angle but I suppose I can ignore that pretty easily.

Lastly the whole quests will not have far reaching consequences angle bugs me a bit. Obviously that is a handholding technique but it would be annoying to reach lvl 120 only to realize you cut yourself off from a big swath of content. On the other hand if it was done right it would make every playthrough feel unique.

All in all it was a pretty good interview.

I actually love the idea of zombie werewolves and i don't know why i haven't thought of it before, zombie by day, werezombiewolf at night heh, very interesting. They also mentioned that locking a player out of content just based on a choice they make is generally a no no and im sure they will avoid it where possible, but in a system like that when you lock out one path it usually opens another equal path.

As for as the soul situation its a mixed bag and it depends on how they work it. It does however bring up an interesting idea, at least to me.

Lets say you play through the game and reach the "end" and defeat Molag Bal, do we actually get our soul back ? and if so could this possibly open our character up to a form of permadeath ? ( ya i know crazy question right) But very interesting none the less, even if it was only in place on an optional server with that ruleset.

I like this interview.

I'm really happy about ZenO scraping the MMO-ish quest design, and aiming for a more living world.

I hope my Khajiit warrior will be able to finish the fighters guild questline without working for the Dominium.

I want a vampire wig. :(

The choice dynamic thing sounds both interesting and messy at the same time, especially if you have two different people who show up in a place where they've made changes that affect the area. "That's a nice [x] statue" "What are you talking about, that statue is a [y]!" <_<

I believe an undead werewolf is a vampire by day, and a werewolf with a backwards head by night.

well he said that you have no soul so under that surmise a person bitten by a werewolf cant die so it would basically become an undead werewolf

BTW i love the questing system as it sounds so far except of course the multi objectives is the same as swtor

Meh i didn't see much similarity in the objective system, and this game was started in 2006 so at most its a coincidence.

Quests won't have choices with consequences that you notice much later. The effects will be immediate for the most part if I understood it correctly.

That's what I took away from it as well. Combined with this there seems to be choice which will be reinforced with phased instancing. They're really going down this single-player route, which is fine, but why is it an MMO then? This is starting to feel like SW:TOR.

So is doing the main quest cooperatively impossible? Or is it merely a choice between solo and co-op? At least for SWTOR if you cannot tell from what we know of TESO.

It should be able to be done cooperatively.
