Orange Box - Valve <3
Oblivion - Introduced me to Bethesda and RPGs really. For that it is one of my favourites.
Champions: Return to Arms - Easily one of the best split screen co-op games I have ever played.
Mass Effect - Amazing story, great gameplay.

I′m gonna go out on a limb and figure you meant more like games you are glad you bought but didn′t know were gonna be awesome. I mean there are a ton of games I KNEW was going to be awesome but as for a game I had no clue about and was just blown out of my socks after playing, well the price goes to *drum-roll*

OKAMI!

I originally spotted it in a bargain bin and thought the art looked nice and figured it was some sort of an adventure game so I bought it for my little brother, but at that time he was a little too young even for that game. So I decided to try the game out myself, and really I had no idea what I was in for. It had been well over half a year since I gave it to my brother and it had just been laying there unused since he didn′t understand it, but after testing it I just got hooked, the story is fun, the art is nice, the aesthetics are brilliant!¨And even the game-play was good and it had quite a unique feature I′d not seen in a game before.

It quickly became one of my favorite PS2 games along with Blood Will Tell, the Persona 3 & 4 games, Demon Stone (sorry, I should probably not list that one, just love it because I get to see some of my favorite characters like Drizzt Do′Urden, Bruenor Battlehammer and Thibbledorf Pwent :D) and Tekken Tag.

On an unrelated note, can anyone tell me why I get a red line under the word "didn′t", What am I doing wrong with that word ?

Fallout 3- I was really worried about buying this. After watching the trailer and gameplay vids, I wasn't sure it was going to be good. It turned out to be the best game I've ever bought. Only recently overtaken by Red Dead Redemption.
