So, Mr. productions, any news?

Conscription? Who are they fighting?
Ghosts from 70 years back. Red ghosts. That shot my grandfather. :stare:

There doesn't need to be a war on for conscription to make sense. It ensures that the general population knows how to preform as soldiers if needed, thus basically allowing the country to maintain a large military at no cost. I believe Switzerland also has conscription but it's rather uncommon in European countries.

What do I do if the manager isn't around? Do I ask the person at the front desk?
Yes. And ask when the manager is working again.

Curriculum vitae, the record of your life. Written by yourself it includes your personal details, past labor history, and your opinion on why someone should hire you. Google for instructions on how to write one, it's very useful.

CV also stands for Combat Vehicle (90), the tank I was a gunner of in my service  When someone mentions CV to me, my first thought is indeed the tank.

Thanks. We just call it a resume. "Re-zoo-may".

[edit] Better = "Re-ze-may"

I think that the first phonetic was better. I've heard Resume used here but the UK mainly prefers curriculum vitae.

Well I went down to the farm with every intention of asking for a job but when I got there I was too nervous and I ended up buying a container of strawberries.

I might try again later...

Most of the jobs I've had, nepotism was the answer. I thoroughly recommend it!
I would've had a job at 711 but the manager gave the position to her son. :(
